I saw it in the movie theatres when it came out Tonight i just bought the DVD and I'm watching it now this movie is so brilliant and shocking the cinematography is incredible especially for an independant film, they must have had a substancial bugdet i loveee this movie!!
It was a rather good movie. I especially enjoyed the dance number. But seriously, some of the scenes from their childhood are heart-wrenching. "You wanted to see the real India, well there it is."
Yeah I saw it while I was in India, and it was a real eye-opener to me. Ofcourse you can daily see such kids there, and the slums I've also visited doing my volunteering work, but seeing this movie really opened my eyes to the stories behind the things you see, stories that you don't easily get insight into. One of the best movies I saw last year, no doubt.
