Lets say someones 4acodmt was being delivered to their house.
Then lets say perhaps that said package never arrived, but rather stopped at the local post office.
Then lets say that this post office called this certain someone an told them they had it come in person pick it up.

Should 'said' person go ahead an go to pick it up

wait about a week and then go

or pretend they didnt order it in the first place

wow thats awfully sketchy friend. my advice would be to not go pick it up. but they already know who u are and know where u live so idk. wow that doesnt help at all. so basically this doesnt look good.

go pick it up, don't open it, bring it home and sit it on your counter for a week....

if the cops stop you or show up, you can say, "I have no clue, never got around to opening it.

edited to add.... if you have to sign for it, or pay for it, forget about it... go in and refuse the package

In legal terminology you're what we call a "goner".

agreed. common logic is that if you receive a letter for a missed package that you dont know, you pick it up anyways and give it a funny look then leave it out incase someone comes knocking.

i assume its a routine package hold because noone was home to receive/sign for it. that happens to much of the stuff i get on ebay

If they have your phone number its not like you wont be getting a visit no matter what if you would get one if you went in and got it.

Get it. the idea of letting it sit out for a week is good if you want to be extra cautious. my orders almost always end up at the post office because i am never home to sign

that sounds like quite the dilemma.

if you do decide to go pick it up, u should just say that you weren't expecting anything.

but that happened to a friend with some mephedrone...the package just got misaddressed...the post man knew that it was to my friend, but filed it incorrectly...

so, give it a week or so to cool off- then pick it up.
let us know how this pans out.

Go pick it up sounds like a normal package hold for mail that didn't have anyone home at the time of delivery to sign for it.

I wouldn't worry to much just as other have said leave it unopened for a week or so

It may not help, but after you pick it up, write return to sender on it and leave it next to the front door for a week (inside the house). It will give your lawyer a little more to work with.

I went and got it, I was too preoccupied with the thought of this delivery that I forgot that my gf bought me a birthday flask and sent it to me in the mail.
SO pretty much a false alarm. Still waiting for the package... damn this is taking forever

i used to work for the post office...if there is something illegal in that box DON'T PICK IT UP!!!! its a set up...they probably already know what's in it and if your name is on it they will come after you one way or another! i've seen it happen many times and it never goes well

    it was a FLASK!?

thats exactly why you should go and get your packages. its entirely possible that they either arnt drugs, or thats what any person would do.
