driving from vegas to LA i actually went through there i'm guessing... i mean it's a pretty scary name when you're going down a highway surrounded by desert for 4 hours and see

 

(282 ft) below sea level..

 

but the Dead Sea 1,385 ft below sea level

Of all the desert places in the/us, I like White Sands MN the most..
