The Black Saint and the Sinner Lady- Charles Mingus

IMO, one of the greatest jazz albums ever made...man... Mingus was such a bad ass.

Dude, no Miles Davis?! I mean, maybe you just didn't add it because it's cliche, but c'mon, Kind of Blue needs to be on this list. It's close to #1 for me, if not #1. I could pretty much fill up this entire list with Miles Davis albums (And I'm not just a fanboy who listens to nothing else, I listen to a lot of different jazz musicians and any other genre of music for that matter).

    For jazz, it would be:
    1. Turn Out the Stars- Bill Evans Trio (a 6 disc recording of his last set of gigs)
    2. Miles Smiles- Miles Davis
    3. Kind of Blue- Miles Davis (many people like it and I do as well!)
    4. Critical Mass- Dave Holland Quintet
    6. A Livingroom Hush- Jaga Jazzist
    7. In A Silent Way- Miles Davis
    8. Jaco Pastorius- Self Titled
    9. Cosmic Messenger- Jean-Luc Ponty
    10. Mingus Ah Um- Charles Mingus

I would have to pick ties past ten, so we'll leave it there.
