Topics for an anthropology paper....

i have to write a 7 page paper that deals with any topic relating to anthropology... it can be the biological aspect or cultural or a combination of both.

im having a hard time coming up with a topic though.

do you guys have any ideas?

Whoah... Are you studying anthropology?! I just started studying anthropology and development studies in uni this fall. Anyhoo...
The essay topics for my next essay are:
How does the system of castes in India differ from a class-based view of society?
To what extent can we argue that caste is a product of colonialism?

And some more theoretical ones..
Why does ethnographic writing produce only "partial truths"?
How can modernity be studied through the prism of consumption?

yeah, im studying anthro.- it's not my major but im thinking of minoring in it. i really enjoy the subject. do you?

 

hmmm maybe the whole greek mythology thing? like, when the greek people made up myths about gods and shit because they wanted an explaination for things like natural occurences. i guess because that was before they had science to back things up. anyways, the whole geneology of the greek gods i find quite interesting.

Yeah, anthropology is so fascinating. I'm so happy about finally being in uni and studying the subjects I really really really want to study. I have two majors (a joint degree) so it's a lot of work, but they're both so interesting and I'm really motivated so I think I'll manage.
What are you majoring in?

You don't have to go back in time so much to write an anthro- paper ! Why don't you try smth. from our time?
