then why do you still have that quarter? sell that bitch and get some money i'm not saying coins aren't good investments occasionally, but if its something currently plentiful and commonly used, i'm not hanging onto it for no reason beyond "there's one for every state" i'm poor damnit but i do have a few things i dont spend. for instance, i have a WWII steel penny. i dont know if they're worth anything, though. but for like two years i think they made them from steel because copper was in short supply. both were needed for the war effort, of course, but copper was more limited in quantity so they made the pennies from steel. course now they're zinc and only copper coated anyway....but w/e. i have a steel penny
yeah, i checked, they aren't worth much. its not in perfect condition, so i'd be lucky to get 15 cents for it. still, it's not something you see every day, damnit!
Because if we hold onto it, it will be worth more in the future. Right now we'd probably spend all that on something foolish or something we'll regret. Better to leave it safe to sell off later when we really need it.
what kinda quarter is worth $1500? i've got a couple of old dollar bills, like from the 30's or somethin that say silver certificate on it. they're not worth more than a dollar or maybe 2, but i'm kinda proud of them lol
