Aright, this is something that just started to happen when i was 10 or 11, and right when it started to happen, i would pluck it or shave it away. Then about a half year after i was doing that, i learned that it grows back thicker when you do that. I was pissed about that, but i would have probably done it anyways because, not just other people think it looks weird, i would look at myself in the mirror and be completely disgusted by it. It would be the single only thing that i diddn't like about myself.
So ever since then, i have been shaving it away daily, I haven't mentioned it to anybody i know, it is my most embarassing secret, but I just know that the people who knew me back when i was young, (who used to comment on it) see me without the brow, they can tell because they remember. Shaving it every day is a serious pain in the ass, but i have a solution, LASER HAIR REMOVAL. I plan on it right when i scrape together the bucks for it.
Just a couple weeks ago, i saw this kid with the gnarliest caterpillar brow i have ever seen, i just thought to myself, what a douche, does he know that he looks so gay? lol I cant wait for the surgery.
This problem seems to be very rare in my perspective, either that or people are like me and do shit about it. Anyone else know where i'm coming from?

    Electrolysis will set you free.

And hair growing back thicker when you shave it is a myth.

    1. hair never grows back thicker, the end of the hair becomes blunt instead of pointy when you shave it hence it seems thicker

    2. Idk how bad your unibrow is but electrolysis seems expensive just for that, just pluck the hairs.

    3. tons of people have unibrows and ect, but the amount of men who actually have their eyebrows waxed or pluck them is far higher then men are willing to admit.

I'm glad that you've got a plan for your eyebrows, but its not going to make you a different person. I hope it work for you.

Yep, that's why i believed the rumor that shaving it makes it grow back faster. It becomes visible with tiny thick hairs in 24-36 hrs after shaving it.

Yeah i know i'm a dick, but it's just a matter of perspective. If i don't like something about me why should i like it about someone else? I still respect people for who they are unless they "act" a certain way that i hate like not being understanding to some extent, or just being evil. I don't judge someone solely on looks.

ive got one and i dont give a shit. I used to shave it after getting a lot of shit when i was younger, I found a girl that cares more about being true to yourself than a few extra hairs. I suppose if youre not comfortable with it then more power to ya, but one cant laser away all of life's problems

You're only 18, you have no idea about real life problems, and if I was dating someone and I found out they had gone out of their way to get their unibrow removed then proceeded to pick on others for having one I would dump their ass so fast.

    News flash: Grow up.

I never picked on anyone else, i never do that kind of thing. All i did was think to myself. I can't control the way i think its how my brain operates.
But yeah people tend to make a big deal about life and i don't so i won't really have "problems" because if i do ever get problems then i just remind myself that this is all there is so theres no point in worrying about anything. The only thing that matters is being happy with what you have and going for more if you can. Once we die it's not like we will ever exist again.

I don't have a unibrow, but my brows bushy so I don't see why you can't spend 10-15 minutes a week plucking them, cleaning them up a bit. hair removal is a bit much, but I'd do it if I had a huge bank with nothing to spend it on xD

Thanks fingermouse :) and kurplunk i tried plucking it the first couple years and i hate that for some reasons: hurts like hell, takes a long time, and right when it comes back you can't pluck the tiny hairs, and it is more noticeable because you can see alot of redness from how sore it got. With shaving it looks clean but only if i do it every day and thats a real pain in the ass. I might do the laser thing this year if my budget works out if not i will do it next year for sure. I even know where a laser hair removal place is only like 5 miles away.

It's not just how other people percieve me, it's mainly how i percieve myself.

    plucking doesnt hurttt....

as a female, i have hairy eyebrow areas, i was waxed, and now i pluck, and the middle bit gets shaved or plucked. i say go for it mate, if you really want it and know itll make you happier ^-^

i dont think laser is permanent though, think it has to be redone every few years?

i had a guy friend at college who had a unibrow, he shaved it, and one day he realised that we could all tell that he did and was like 'oh.. so do you all hate me now?' and we couldnt understand why we'd hate him for shaving his brow and making himself more presentable and attractive? blokes are weird.. =]
