and naked girls so it seems^^ I use coconut oil which can make them look kind of...well, oily and feel a bit tacky. how do they feel?
Just nice and soft. I bleached them on Saturday and just hated how it left them so thought fuckit, conditioner time I didn't use much at all and just very quickly rubbed it through them then rinsed straight away, and just that made a massive difference. They felt fun to rinse too
a black guy with dreads sat in front of me on the bus the other week, and he STUNK of coconut. it was soo strong (the smell) and i actually wanted to wretch =[
I love coconut! The other day an Asian man sat beside me on the luas with the most bizarre looking sausage. It was luminous pink and stank so bad I had to get off a couple stops early.
Whats the big reason why so many people with dreads are against using conditioner. I use it at least a few times a month so my hair smells good, and it hasn't done any harm at all.
Not all conditioning will take knots out, it is to make your hair shaft smoother. It can help with knots but doesn't mean it will make knots come out on there own, still need a brush.
Kinda, I haven't had any of my dreads come anywhere close to loosening/ coming undone/ not locking. It just seems everyone makes it out to be extremely bad for this hairstyle.
i've been using baby shampoo for the last 4 monthes. i feel a bit like a traitor, but i'm finding that it's the best so far. no residue, easy to rinse out.... and if it's good for babies, than it can't be bad for me either
