I don't know about you, but when I'm high, I don't really like listening to music that was made by people who obviously don't smoke weed. Like, I feel like it doesn't really connect with me, and they're not in touch with that psychedelic feeling I have. Does that make sense? Does anyone else find this? It's a bit snobby, I suppose, and there are exceptions.

All musicians smoke weed, so it's irrelevant.

    Even Michael W. Smith.

I do understand, but it really is nonsense. You know about all artists in your music collection if they smoke or not? It's not that obvious at all. Besides that, it's not like if you don't smoke you can't make psychedelic or stoner music. And last of all, for me personally it really depends on my mood what kind of music I put on when stoned. Sometimes I want something else then the typical stoner or psychedelic tunes.

I have to agree, I think it's all about the mood. I personally like amost all kinds of music. My collection is huge, I even have things on my drive that I don't even like but it's there in case someone else wants to listen to it. I have to buy a new hard drive just to hold my music. I'm going to get another 1TB drive. I currently have all of my audio files on a 500 gig drive and it's almost full. There are a few copies of the same songs and such but it take a lot of time to weed them out.

Nope. Listening to The Coup's "Last Blunt" which is sort of anti weed rules when you're baked, it's got an awesome funky bassline.

What exactly is stoner music? All music I normally like I just like more when high, and I have a huge collection. Like for example since I'm in the E section, my music folder goes from a huge selection of each of the following in this order, Eazy E - Elvis - Elysian Fields - Emilie Autumn - Eminem - Eric Clapton - Eurythmics - Everything but the Girl will some minor appearances by Edgar Winter, Everlast, Everclear, En Vogue and Evancescene

The question is what of those is exactly stoner music

What no Explosions in the Sky in your E section? Preposterous

And yeah most music sounds good when stoned, and if it doesn't, it probably doesn't sound good sober either so I wouldn't listen to it.
