I just swallowed a stapler pin!!

It's my regular bad habit to put stapler pins and play around with it in my mouth. While doing the same today, I absent-mindedly swallowed it ! However i don't feel anything in my throat or body. Will it cause any risk or problem? Do i need to see a doc?

 

Does it have the legs sticking out, or is it folded/stapled?

I'd be kind of worried about, hope you are OK.

 

just swallow a cotton ball and you'll be fine.

 

Or some sulphuric acid, that'll dissolve it.

no. i wouldn't see a doctor but just wait 8 hours for it to go out the natural way....if you get pains in your tummy then i'd go to the doctor.

I think if I were you, I'd at least call the doctor or emergency room and see what they think. Was the staple open? I can't imagine that would feel too good.
