I left the first time at 17. Been back and forth since then, but I never got free rent after the age 18.
At 17, I lived out of my car for three months, across the country. At 18, I moved an hr and a half away for school. At 20, I moved back in for one year. In Jan, I moved across the country. In one week, Im moving back to attend a new school. lol. I fluctuate.
I agree with this. And though cash is short, I am happy Im not moving back because I have to. More because, its smarter to, and I Want to. And honestly, I want to live on my own during the summers in new places, but I dont want to officially move out again and have a fulltime apartment until I can do it on my own (no roommate), or Im in a solid relationship, and we decide to live together. Roommates suck.
I've made a lot of threads like this lol. I've never moved out, but am doing so in about a month / a month and a half... so ya know. I think I found the right place yesterday.. but my friends are all hesitant because it's not in the nicest of neighborhoods... Whatever, I can't wait to move out. We're going back up on Thursday to meet again with this lady about an apartment....
i woudl love to move out...but the cost of living in boston is far too high and unless i move in with soem close friends or i can afford my own place, its not gonna happen anytime soon. not gonna deal with retarded roomates - did that enough at school.
I got kicked when I was 15 for almost a year, but that didn't work out to well. Now I am back and looking at moving out on July 1st on much better terms.
i moved out the first time at 18, then went back and forth till my mom finally kicked me out when i was 22. i lived out of my car for 3 weeks then my boyfriend and i got an apt together. i get along with my parents now, but i will never live with them again, like the other person who would rather live under a bridge, i'd much rather live out of my car again if neccessary. my mom and i cant live together.
I moved out in February Best decision I ever made. It forced me to do things other than sitting in my room with the curtains closed listening to Black Metal and trolling on the internet.
man i lived with the guitarist and drummer from my band in an apartment.. we split the rent and all other expenses three ways and only ended up having to pay like 100-500 bucks each every month (it was a shithole but it was ours)
