Ok, I've made a few threads about my probation (unsupervised). As June 17 will mark one year since I was sentenced, I decided I wont smoke till a few weeks after that, starting today. However, just today, my parents got a letter, it was addressed "to the parents of [my little brother]." To make a long story short, my and my little brother (who was 17 at the time) got in a fight, he called the cops, not because he felt threatened, because he has a few inches and about 20 pounds on me, but to get me in trouble. He ended up getting in trouble too, and we were both sentenced to attempted assault. Anyway, the letter was from a probation officer. It said my brother has to have all his court orders done by July 1st. At the end of the letter, it said I also had to have my stuff done, although the letter was clearly focused on my little brother. I'm thinking it would probably be a good idea to stop smoking till a little after July 1st. That would mean I wouldt be able to smoke for most of the summer, but I think its my best bet. What does everyone else think about that? I figure I can just get drunk allot this summer.
Wait to smoke until you're off your sentencing and have no future sentences. Don't risk that shit to get high. best of luck
yeah do what you gotta do to stay clean, weed does get monotonous after awhile anyways. pick a day where you plan to stop smoking. the night before, smoke like a 3-4 gram blunt, go out with a bang. plus theres other stuff out there than pot. you got BOOZE! and if you feel the need to smoke weed, smoke a cig
Yeah for sure wait it out. Hell, I stop one month before exams every 4 months so I'm sure for something much more important like probation you can hold off for a month. Read a book, something fictional, or maybe a bibliography of someone you idol, I find those two things can keep me off the weed. Oh, and I don't know if you do or not, but having a job helps a lot too. That and sleep take up about 16 hours of my day.
