I am currently on the waitlist for Rutgers (Camden) Penn state and Santa clara law school and really want in one of the thee law schools. Any tips foe letters of continued interest or other helpful ideas? This wait is killing me
Write a letter to the dean, ask to make an appointment, call and confirm with his secretary and go meet the dean in person. Dress real spiffy. I don't know much about law school, but I know that continued interest only starts with letters, get on with the much more important face to face meeting. If you can afford it then you really should buy someone important a very nice lunch at a very nice restaurant; smoooooze to the max.
Do you really want to go to law school? Most firms are downsizing with the lousy economy, and jobs are at a premium out of school. Just saying. Do you think you could even pass the bar? "Foe"?
find a wealthy alumni to kick down a chunk of change to the school under the condition you get in immediately.. never fails..lol
