I don't hate christians..what i hate is when they try to tell the world how democrats are going to be punished severely by God because they choose democratic leaders..when everyone knows, that most republicans, not all but most are for money, oil, and war...among other things.. now tell me God doesn't get upset about that? uhmm OK..and it's ironic watching all of the gloating assholes..yes I CALLED YOU Gloaters assholes because you are really bad winners..ya know, you just keep on making fun of Kerry, Kerry supporters and democrats in general, judging, without compassion, I don't think that's very christian like..and as you voted Bush in, for moral values which where only two moral issues..I guess two out of thousands isn't bad..ie (abortions, gay rights taken away)..think about those whenever abortions will happen anyway performed by butchers, and people will still be gay, and altho they may not be married by a church or by the state but by most people marriage is a sanctity of the heart, who needs paper? Paper doesn't tell you what your heart already knows, i'd just assume get married in a field with a daisy chain in my hair, the wind blowing, in a dress, barefoot.. looking at my husband to be, and telling him from my heart my vows to him..who needs church or the state to tell me what my heart already knows..so when you voted for this man to re-elect him as our President, you voted on moral issues, not war, not security, not economy, not jobs, not our environment which btw is getting bad..you voted for a texas good old boy, oil tycoon who btw, wasnt good at this either..and based on his two morals who used God as a reason to vote for him..and you say..YOU VOTE FOR KERRY and you will lead a life in eternal damnation..uh huh whatever those of you that told me that..When this war is neverending, when we have no healthcare insurance still, when our economy continues to decline, when America goes bankrupt because of a high deficit, when there are so many deaths, because of this war, when Osama still breathes down our necks..when more blood of the innocent stain our streets...I tell you this..Don't blame me, I VOTED FOR KERRY!
I'm tired of the dramatic horseshit, you know. I mean, it's at the point where you just say I'm a democrat, I may or may not be a christian and I may or may not go with your views, but that's what I am and I really don't give a shit. Sometimes you've just got to be like that for the good of your own opinion.
And whatever happened to separation of church and state? Seriously. I'm buddhist. A minority. Bush says voting for him is religiously good. I guess you could say that bush is *ahem* ANTI-MINORITY????
Well duh! Its not like he had anything to do with thousands of blacks losing their voting privileges in the 2000 election There is a reason why the Democrat Party is called the "black party" by some people on FoxNews....
I love what Jon Stewart said about Florida..."You have to be careful though...you might tana healthy shade of inelligble to vote" HAHAHA still my fav. quote...
bush has a few funny quotes himself though. go to everything2.com for some quotes. one of my favorite of bush's: "I believe that education and literacy does important" and another: "this may sound a bit west texan to you, but I like it. When I'm talking about me, and you're talking about me, and he's talking about me, we're all talking about me"
Holy fucking shit... I can't believe that was ever passed. Wow, our country is in such a sad state. And just think, another four more glorious years of hell to look forward to. Man, I'm shocked.. and pissed.. it's just beyond words really.
can you please list the source of this information? i think you are all reacting to either a rumor or misinterpreted information. if such an absurdity were passed into law, it would get shot down with the first challenge. even in the current administration. there would simply be no legal way it could fly. at all. secondly, if state-mandated religious requirements were made in any marriage amendment, the americans united for the separation of church and state and the ACLU would be all over it in a heartbeat. it would be all over their webpage in screaming red headlines, even if - especially if - it didn't make "mainstream" news. it's beyond outrageous. quite simply put, even with the present dominionist nutjob in the white house, NO state can pass ANY law endorsing or mandating ANY religion. that is in the US constitution. it is NOT something that is easy for bush, or anyone else to change. such a blatant violation of our most sacred rights as americans would not go unnoticed, could not be ignored on any level of government, and is not something that could happen just because "christian fundamentalists felt like it." and americans united and the ACLU would pick up on something like that right away, that's what they do. there is no mention of it on either webpage, although i imagine neither organization is happy about the marriage amendments in any state. religious freedom has taken a beating in the last few years, and it's probably going to get worse, but nothing so blatant as this. there are people and organizationsworking to protect our rights. check for yourselves: http://www.au.org http://www.aclu.org
"This may sound a bit west texan to you, but I like it. When I'm talking about me, and you're talking about me, and he's talking about me, we're all talking about me." Holy shit... he quoted a Toby Keith song? ROFLMAO!!!
Well, I listen to all music... I happen to have that song on my Imesh... lmfao it's like "wtf"... Toby Keith is the equivalent of Bruce Springsteen in political terms.
'deed he is. our stupidass (racist, homophobe, brainwashed, etc. ) english teacher MADE us listen to that song in english. wtf. that's the only reason i know that haha.... damn, i wish someone would get that redneck son of a bitch.
