lol what's new :cheers2: I already got my ban warning cause someone reported me. wasn't allowed to be told who though lol
That's fine... but if you see someone as being a troll (whether or not they actually are) there certainly are things you can do to minimize the disruption to the forums. You're never going to persuade everyone of the universal wisdom of your beliefs so there's little point in persisting in this manner. I think Pat__ may be reacting to what he sees as simply bad advice/information and perhaps doesn't want to see others mislead into believing something that he sees as fundamentally false. I see the logic in his arguments and I sense the force with which he is making them... I do NOT see a troll.
My point is what right does Pat, a man uneducated about women's health, a man that (to my knowledge) has not experienced child birth as a parent, have to give his opinion on this subject? How would he know if this is bad advice or not? And he is troll like because he cannot keep personal attacks out of arguements/debates. BTW I edited my earlier remarks because you made a very good point on keeping the peace here.
master's degree –noun a degree awarded by a graduate school or department, usually to a person who has completed at least one year of graduate study. graduate school –noun a school, usually a division of a university, offering courses leading to degrees more advanced than the bachelor's degree.
I have as much right to post as you do. It's a public forum And I normally dont do personal attacks first unless they are thrown my way
And yet you said this?? You know, the ignore option works wonders here. Sometimes, when we see someone commenting about something that they probably don't know much about the best response is a silent, knowing smile because engaging them in a verbal bitch match isn't going to sway them, only life experience will illuminate what is so obvious. Apparently someone just "has" to be right here and I'm not convinced it is Pat__
yes that is true. but in order to get a masters, you need a degree first. afert you get your degree, you have to shoose a doctor (someone with a phD) to study under. they grant you your masters after you work for them. Usually 2 -3 years. it goes degree > masters > phD I've said this before
Sorry, but I do feel strongly that women should take control of their health, and not be ashamed of the functions that create life.
DON'T be sorry for feeling passionate about this- just let go of the need to convince everyone because it simply isn't going to work and you're going to waste a lot of energy- as well as fuck up your state of mind trying.
I promise I will come back to this thread with actual pictures of people with dreads or piercings and work in the Canadian field of medicine! In fact I'm pretty sure if I made a call I could get pictures of Yale;s anesthetist in the OR gowned up and a piercing in her lip.... Its two months until our next biopsy at sick kids....I can get some then!
I have seen people in the medical field with dreads - but they had to wear them up in head wraps/hats and pretty much couldn't tell they had them. I have never seen a doctor with a facial peircing... well, I have seen the tell-tell piercing hole, but not with jewelry. Most nurses/drs I know say they cannot have visible jewelery other than a tiny earring or wedding ring .
And I appreciate it. The way I was treated about something that I didn't even post a link to was absurd!!! There were inflammatory and offensive remarks over something I did to help someone. And even though someone thought it was gross is fine, but the manner in which I was approached on it was just bad times... WOW Ignore option is fine and all - but seriously, being a total jerk about something just because you can is RIDICULOUS!! And that's exactly what Pat_ is doing. He seems like an intelligent guy so I know he can see that the whole placenta for medicine thing isn't some voodoo crap. But for some reason this turned into a huge debate when there is no debate. He's relentless. ITA :cheers2:
This^. She only felt she was attacked because it was something close to her. Never once did anyone use her name followed by an attack.
