    Green Day is a pop band and when you look at their music that way it's not that bad IMO.

    Are you serious, I was under the impression they were still pretty popular. But I do believe greenday died, in the sense that they are no longer good at all. They were good in the 90s, but then they went all corporate, and started whining about shit.

    its what happens when youre part of a novelty genre and youve been on the scene for too long. now that theyre older they want to go in a new direction, but what theyve chosen... its just too lame.
