how do i drape it? i found an old sari at the goodwill. it may be vintage; the silk seems pretty old. too old to really wear, and it's a little frayed at the hems...still, i've just gotta know.
hi kitty, i found this one: http://www.kerala.com/fashion/hwsari.htm hope it's practicable. i never tried cause i don't have a sari. anyway i suppose it's really pretty, so please post a picture when you got it draped. hope, i'll find one too, some time. by the way, do you see women wearing saris in the US a lot? here in berlin, you hardly find anyone doing that style at all, except native women from india, which i don't met very often, too... what colour is your sari?

She has dressed me up in a sari several times....if any of you have any questions I can ask her....sarees can be expensive, starting usually around $50, you are so lucky to have gotten one second hand. Did it have the matching blouse with it? There are many sites that show how to drape them, a petticoat is needed, and it is so much easier if you saftey pin the pleats to the petticoat, they are really rather simple once you learn how much fabric you need in what places
