BBQ and cold beer

It was nice and hot today so we did a BBQ and I drank a crate of cold beer. I did the spicy ribs, jerk chicken, steak and truck load of ice cold beer. I'm going to sleep in all day tomorrow. I can't believe I'm still awake. I'm about to pass out! I just dropped in to say high to RT :biggrin:

I love barbecues.
Especially when I serve my specialty burgers to my most "unfavourite" guests.

Thats crispy-done outside.And that "straight from the freezer" taste in the middle.
Makes my barbecues especially memorable...

 

I've lived on BBQ food and cold beer for the past week or so, it's been glorious

 

We haven't had a home dinner that didn't come off of the bbq in months.

I was bbq'ing in pouring down rain this afternoon.

Alas, no beer.

i'd kill somebody, in front of their own mother, for some jerk chicken right now, and some nice cold lager


as it is i'll probably do simple boxed food for dinner, and i've got stuff for manhattans (drinking my first one ever right now, i like it - wanted to give em a try) and i've got a bottle of nice belgian-style beer getting a slight chill on at the moment

 

beer is wholesome and good for the human body

 

How can you have BBQs if it never stops raining?

 

I 'qued last night and it was pouring. Face the flame away from the rain, and just wait for the grill to get hot. Then from there you just have to tough it out.

 

Yeah, I've had my share of extremely drunk thunderstorm grilling experience.

They are great though.

 

Well that was slightly disturbing I've just asked Skip to remove that stupid photo from here..
