Festival Report...still tripping

Right well on thursday a friend came to my place and said he was on his way up to Life Festival, a psytrance/dnb/techno festy with a stupid ammount of drugs.

We ended up hitching the 100 or so miles on friday morning and got up without a problem including getting a lift in a camper van caning joints and downing vodka.

The first problem we had was how to get in since we didnt have tickets although there were about 15 of our friends there already who had done volunteer work for a free ticket.

I ended up waiting till it was dark to sneak in but before I could the Ketamine Guy (some 19 year old with an ounce of ket) stumbled up adn started handing out keys loaded with ket, so it being a festival I didnt turn it down of course (my first time taking it) but ehh taking a load of ket before trying to sneak into a festival = fail

ended up way too fucked and in the forest trying to sneak in ended up falling on my face off a huge ditch only to find myself completely alone..apart from the big security guard that grabbed me by the neck got driven back out the gates and thrown out but managed to sneak in with some stranger I met afterwards so it was fine

Oh yeah outside the gates we got some acid before hand off some guy who had a bag full of different drugs. So i dropped that when I got in and just sort of wandered around tripping and dancing at the 50K sound systme pumping out dnb near where I got in.

Well basically the whole festival was just loads of ketamine, acid, mdma and speed throughout the whole thing but I was caught inside and thrown out and threatened with arrest if I was caught again...which I was by this stage security knew my face pretty well and I was physically thrown into the back of a van (this is all happening on the saturday night) and after being caught numerous times and taking my name and address and being questioned by the shades inside they drove me two miles to a police checkpoint and I was barred from the grounds.

This is the great part though. There were only two cops at the checkpoint and they were sound as fuck. I was tripping off my face and still on a load of ket but they gave me loads of food and water and were just chatting away to me, they said the security there was insane, bunch of assholes getting away with everything and that I could sue them for excessive force.

The shades didnt really know what to do with me so they decided to smuggle me back in after I told them I was just going to go sleep in a feild for the night. So they had a riot van drive from the festival and pick me up and I was put in the back and told to keep my head down so security wouldnt see me. They drove me straight back in and pulled a few strings with some officials and got me a free ticket They were actually the nicest cops and they knew full well I was off my face too hahaha...but yeah, managed to hitch back today and sitting here now..still tripped out and I havnt slept or eaten (apart from what the cops gave me) since friday...Im off to get some food anyway so ehh thanks for reading cus this is some long piece of shit to read haha but yeah thought ye would like to know about my drug infested festival

yeah the whole thing was mental..my phone was stolen aswell but im not bothered about that really..I spent most of my time with either the Ketamine Guy getting free samples haha or else tripping with the friends I went up with and started each morning with a line of speed and mdma. I dont think i'll be sneaking in next year though, i'll do the volunteer work

It was mainly psytrance and there was some mental light shows and effects...it was on a golf course in the grounds of a castle and on the castle, they took a picture of it and had the picture of the castle projected onto the front of the castle so it fitted perfectly then started warping the picture so it looked like the whole castle was bending and twisting...it was trippy shit, I was peaking for about an hour just staring at it with about 50 other people just completely tripped out...there was so much acid and ketamine there it was crazy.

Some guy wearing nothing but a dressing gown was walking around with half a litre of pure liquid acid giving drops to people and the Ketamine Guy (his name was Mozzy) was giving me loads for free so I was just off in my own little world for most of it haha and a friend of mine found a gram of white powder which we think was ket but it got us all so insanely fucked that we dont think it was just that. Aww man its a small festival, I think only 7,000 tickets were sold but its the best iv ever been to and definitely the most drug infused. Might be a bit far for you westerners to come over but next year some of the english forumers should definitely try and get over...3 days of drugged up raving

Well they were just like...your 17 and your halfway up the country, we cant exactly leave you sleeping in a field so we might aswell just take you back in haha...I was knocked around a bit by the festival security though...thrown into the back of a van and have a big bruise on my shoulder and pounched by some lesbian bitch security...she was right up in my face and if it wasnt for me being surrounded by about 20 security crew I would have fucked my bag into that bitches face.

The cops were great though, was chatting away to them grand...Green Gathering isnt in Ireland this year, thats over your side of the water in England so i'll probably be going to that and soon theres Mantua, Solaris is another festival but I dont know anything about that yet and Electric Picnic should be good. I think that'll be about it for festivals this summer. Although if I can make it to spain I might be able to go to Sonar in Barcelona which is a week long drum n bass, techno and that sort of stuff in general festival but its quite a huge European one which should be insane.

yeah.. i was so excited when iClips uploaded videos from 10k performances last year.. because honestly.. a lot of it was a blurr.. especially the first day.. since i was completely wasted by 8am and kept drinking til 5am
