I cut my hair/Adirondack Trip.

Hey guys, after about 6 months of trying to grow dreads the "natural" way I decided it was time for a change. So I cut my hair off, well shaved it anyway. Below are some pics of me with short hair, some of you might remember my kinda long hair before shots. This is also an excuse to post some pics of my recent trip up Gothics Mt. with my gf in the Adirondacks. Anyone who lives in NY or near that area has got to spend some time up there, it's amazing.

I still want dreads one day.

ey man i live in the adirondacks right by lake sacandaga!! im always up in the mountains its so peaceful in the adirondacks!! were u from man?

 

i <3 the adirondacks! used to go camping there when i was a kid. tooo bad about the locks. maybe a different method next time?

 

hey vigilante were did u goto camp?? i go camping all the time in the adirondacks... always hiking or sumthin..lol its so amazing there.. i love how most people think of ny as being nothing but cities n wat not when in reality theres more countryside in ny than "cities" i love living in the adirondacks!

 

Even natural purists cut after 6 months. I say there is no correlation between method and time before cutting.

Oh the Adirondacks. Did a Canoe trip from Blue Mountain Lake down to Raquette Lake. Great times, lots of bears.

 

Yeah there is, if your dreads are a waxy mess your not going to hold onto them for very long.

How the fuck can you try and make a generalization like that because one (now former) elitist jackass cut his shit off.

I am from Fishkill,NY near Poughkeepsie which is about 4-5 hours away from the Adirondacks. My dad used to hike a lot, so he got me and my brothers into it. It's such a great work-out and the views are so beautiful.

As for the pics, my hair/dreads didn't look much different then my progress thread I posted awhile back. I had about 4-5 solid looking dreads that were a pain to comb out(I considered just having long hair before I shaved, lasted only 1 day).

Kind of hard to cut off natural dreads at 6 months considering they will be nothing like dreads at that time
