Yah I'm done with school in a month or so, then I'm gonna work from then til February or March. Good Ed, what the hell are you talking about?
My favorite Hendrix song is 'Burning of the Midnight Lamp'. I got to see that performed live on his birthday up here and I tell you that words can't express how good it was.
please do you hear yourself? you sound so different from when i first started talking to you...i actually kinda miss it
Actually, it was billed as an orchestration of Jimi's music, but it was a small group of revolving performers. It was perfomed once before in New York, this was on the occasion of his b-day. One of the performers was Vernon Reed. He did Red House. There was a lady singer, for example, that did "Are you experienced" Bongo players, a hip hop kinda national anthem, all kinda of groovy stuff. Did that "I would a Merman be" (or exactly how is that worded?). It is amazing how good (and radical) his music sounds live..... Also, living in Seattle, performers have a tendency to do a Hendrix song in tribute. Another sneaky way to hear Jimi's music live.
I really doubt I'm any different from then except now I am better at guitar and I can't stand punk music anymore.
Thank ya I don't see how I ever lived thru that stage of my life....I attempted listening to my Tsunami Bomb cd not too long ago and I almost died. Horrible, horrible music.
ok w/e what i would want to say probably wouldn't matter to you anyway...or it'd just fly through your head
