I acquired a small baggie (the little ones with the weed leaves on em) full of a brown powder that they said was mescaline. Some friends made tea with theirs and said they tripped pretty hard, no puking though. I was with them, and they were definitely fucked up, I'm just wondering if anyone has bought this same stuff or has a good idea of what it is if its not mescaline. The Mushroom Man

If it really it mescaline pure or not consider yourself very lucky you didn't have to sepnd countless money and hours making it yourself. Be good to mescalito and he will be good to you.
Mescaline HCL or Citrate or any mescaline salt should be close to completely white. It could have some brown to it, but pure mescaline shouldn't. Doesn't mean it's not if it is brown though, it could have just been poorly extracted. Did you guys weigh the dose? It should be anywhere from 100mg-1000mg depending on the purity. 100mg is only going to be lab synthed quality most likely, and 1g would be a pretty poor extraction. It should taste very bitter, very flat, kinda earthy, and just linger on your mouth for awhile. It's very easy to distinguish, though perhaps hard to describe, but once you've tasted it you'll know it. The come up is about 3-4 hours, and it should last about 12 give or take. It's very dose dependent, but of the stuff I have 400mg will get me going pretty good for a good 12-14 hours. Mind if I asked how much your friends paid for it? If it was cheap then it's probably not mescaline. It normally goes anywhere from $80/g to $200+/g.
