here are some pics of my current locks. it's been about a year and a half since I last combed my hair (it was with an afro pick ). didnt really do much except rub my hair a little extra when washing and drying, but only a couple of times.
here's a picture that somewhat shows how long it was before it started knotting up: of course, it's a long process and there's no definitive BEGINNING. about 2 years ago, i cut off my old locks, then kept growing my hair from that point on. for halloween one year, i was rockin' a sweet lesiure suit (burnt orange in color) so i naturally picked out my hair with an afro pick. at that time it wasnt even close to knotting up so it didnt matter. my hair has roughly stayed the same length - it's just knotting and shrinking up on itself.
flipping awesome dreads man they have a ton of character much more then straight dreads imo... gonna rock!!
