The Draft, Communes and the underground...

glad to see there are so many people on our side...tomorrow...tomorrow we shall see what is going down. i have a few friends that are planning protests...and my friend and i are going to have a nice hummus lunch and plot the revolution

 

hi im n the beginning phases of developing an" unsupervised" commune of sorts more like independent living community with serious like minded people... if you have time read my post "what are you prepared to do?" and let me know what you think. in short im willing to try!

Dont worry about the draft, if they draft you, just talk about the voices and wave your rifle around like Tom Green on acid. You will be a civilian before you can say medical discharge.

 

lol my husband plans on sewing the draft card to his forearm. i told him i do not want to see it and not to use my thread and needles.

theres a plenty people that wanna and will try. I think a lotta peoples' hearts and minds are right, they just have zero direction....as typical as it sounds, it couldn't be more true.....we really need to UNITE, yes like spiritually and physically !

Hi everyone. I noticed this posted.. and, was really suprised. I feel like I have completely missed something. Is Bush thinking about bringing back the draft? Has he taken any actions on it? Are there any websites that show this as a fact?
I'm not being skeptical or anything, I'm just like.. "what", because I though that a few years ago it was decided that they werent going to bring the draft back. Thanks.

The idea of the draft coming back is not far fetched. Recognizing that the mostly non-combatant military (navy) is not encouraging people to stay because it's too expensive (huh ?), that those of the lowest rank (newcomers) get the lowest pay, that they are calling back people in combatant roles that are retired and beyond (incapable of serving) ; we can see that they are not finding enough cheap fodder for the war machine. A draft would answer a lot of the shrubs woes and maybe even clone him - by way of opportunity for the rich and well connected forming another elite of those called but found ways out of serving. Add to that that those by tradition being more inclined to try for balance are definitely in the minority and the might makes right of those fundamentally inclined in the seat of power at present ... the writing is on the wall - too bad they made ineligible many by way of felonious possession of non-habit forming drugs; whoa maybe they'll offer pardons and re-instate them in good standing in this great nation (of liars and cheats).

Just a bit of black humor to alleviate some of the build up of bile that the last few months have helped store - and I don't even watch TV - I pity those who do and are probably feeling downright vicious by now about the powers that have stolen once again - or is it really the will of the people - let me quickly dis-associate then ! the flag is upside down
