Adding people you don't really know to your friend list.

It dont really matter....unless you have a nudie album that you dont want to be spread all over the interwebs.

 

as far as i know, spyware isn't transferred through your friends list...

although i see no reason to add strangers either.

It isn't about the info they may see or pictures they might find.
I have atleast chatted with the majority of people on my list.
I know who they are and I know what they are like.
I like them - hence them being there.
At the moment I have a request and I have no idea who this person is and I have never read any of their posts.
I didn't know if to just fuck it and add him...or start a policy of vetting the mofos who ask to be my friend.

I know it is my choice, just wondered what other peoples policy is.

my policy is to accept requests unless i have a specific reason not to. not knowing the guy doesn't count as a reason.

I like to be aware of people being online as you sometimes misss them.
Not miss them as in missing them - boo hoo...you miss them on the forums even though they are online.
