How many times have you moved in your life?

I've moved once, when I was 7 years old we moved from Southampton, up here. I didn't keep in touch with any school friends from Southampton since I lost their contact number.

When we got here I went to one school for a few weeks, RD, and then went to the school I was supposed to be going to originally. After that I settled and now I'm going to be moving school again in September.

The funny thing is, when I went to RD, one of the girls I used to play with at break/lunch, I then met again when we went to secondary school. She's the only one I remembered from the school and now she's one of my best friends! haha...

 

too many times to remember.actually did all of 3rd grade at the same school

 

we moved a few times when i was too young to remember... i think 3 moves before i hit 3.

then we stayed in the same house until i went to college. since then, i've lived in one dorm, 4 apartments, and one friend's couch.

shit, i grew up in the same house my dad grew up in haha

 

I've moved 13 times total.... I never had to switch schools, most of my moves were after school...

MOVING SUCKS

if I didn't have kids, I think I'd be fine with packing up my clothes, having a laptop and just going... I really don't have many material items other then clothes and my computer...

I've moved 3 times.. changing schools once.

 

i have lived in the same house since i was born :O

 

3-5 moves? it was with my bf i was 20, i left my house of 19years...well i didnt live there much after 16 but, we moved to phoenix, az. then back to ny then to tampa then back to ny a couple moves inbetween not far moves but, still having to pack everything get a truck etc...it sucks.

i missed home for so long. its good to be back. but, i still miss az a lot. i loved it out there, someday i'll go back. wander around for a good month or two...

 

i've moved 7 times, changed schools 3 times. my longest standing friendship is from 5th grade, 13 years ago.

 

Before I was 15, somewhere in the area of a dozen.

From 15 til around 25 or so, I never lived in a place more then a few months and have been across the country a couple of times doing it.

Around 25 I bought my first house, and since then its been a new place every year and a half to two years between flips.

so, somewhere in the neighborhood of at almost 2 dozen serious moves and a bunch of smaller ones...

From now til I die.... ZERO moves...

The longest friendship I have had is with the guy who was born the same day as me in the hospital bed next to my mothers. lol, seriously

Around 15 different homes in 2 countries.

 

If there were no kids, I'd live in the truck and always be moving.

I don't remember anymore. Over ten for sure.
At this point, I refuse to obtain or purchase larger furniture. I'd rather give things away than hold on to anything useless, moving is such a giant pain in the ass.
