I'm asking this here because this issue seems to be the most important with RCs. I recently got some chems in. One of them is a tiny 100mg bag, and the chem in question is dosed by the mg. My scale is alright, so I put the tray on the scale with half of a capsule. I tried to measure out 1mg of the chem for test oral dosage. This was difficult. In addition to 1mg being impossibly tiny, the powder was slightly sticky and my slightest breath/motion made the weight dance. I had what looked like a 2 grains of salt worth of powder which I took. I was thinking, in the future, since I only plan on taking this orally, could I cut this stuff with a powder of some sort for easier measuring? I was thinking maybe 900g of white flour, mixed with 100g of the chem and homogenized. This way, for 1mg of powder, I could measure 10g of the mix, which is slightly easier I think. Any disadvantages to this?
Woah!! Do NOT mix it with flour if the doses are that small. Can you please mention the chemical name that needs something a dose THAT small? When mixed with another powder, the chemical could be unequally distributed so you may have no effect or you may OD. I suggest doing something like adding 10mg to a 100 drop dropper or something. You can do accurate doses that way. It's really the best way to do this although I have never done it this way. Anyone else with experience?
JWH-018 and CP 47,497. The water seems like a better idea, actually, I would think the water/chem mix would keep for a while in the fridge? That's another concern, keeping the mix from degrading after I mix it up. fyi: the initial dose had some threshold effects, was really a test run with the chem to see if I had any adverse reactions to it. I'll likely be dosing around the 5mg range in the future to try for a real high.
If you use Distilled Water, there should be no real degradation due to water quality. However I do not know much about the stability of those 2 in terms of heat/light exposure.
It is probably safe enough to do that if you can mix it good enough. Thats pretty much what people who press MDMA tabs do, mix MDMA with filler until it is an equal mixture then press it into tabs.
I would suggets what carlos said to do though, with liquid. I never got how they can make the mixture so equal that they don't get big chunks of chem sometimes, but yeah that is how people press tabs so it must be safe enough....I would use liquid though go with high proof vodka.
Alright, another question, anyone know of any sites where I can get a good milliliter or sub-milliliter dropper? Not having too much luck with a google search, could be I lm looking for the wrong things. Wouldn't mind an amber/cobalt storage bottle either, I have found a few places, but they only sell the bottles in bulk (like 1000 at a time).
u need to find a dropper that tells u how much ml is in each drop. i think. i havent done liquid yet. but i know wen u buy vitamin b in droppers it says its 1ml per drop.
Correct me if I am wrong, but didn't you freak out on that stuff earlier? Looks like you took my advice and took it as a lesson as opposed to quitting completely.
I don't really have the answer to either one of those, but wanted to throw out a helpful idea. If you need to test to see how much each drop is, used distilled water and take an average of 10 drops. 1mg=1ml
liquid is DEF the way to do it...though i've never messed with either of those. i intend to do that with 2c-x as soon as i come up [pun intended] from my current ventures. i mean, when 18 mg and 23 mg are radically different, i'd rather spend a few dollars on a graduated eye dropper, glass vial, and some fluid than a few hundred dollars on a legit scale.
Oh yeah, I ended up tossing the jwh and cp, but I kept the methylone. Not sure if I'll mess with synthetic cannibanoids again, but when I eventually pick up the reigns of experimentation again, I want to be as accurate as possible with my dosage. I'll have to keep searching for some good equipment for this, I'm thinking with anything requiring fine dosage the scale I have won't cut it the way I thought it would. If I find anything I'll post a link in this thread, unless there's a rule against posting links to buy lab equipment? edit: Searching for Graduated Eye Droppers and Pipettes seems to be much more fruitful. Thanks.
