Ok, so I've posted a few threads on here about my probation. Obviously I'm paranoid, and to an extent I know I'm over reacting because of my ocd, but I still have panic attacks thinking that a po might be on their way to my house to test me (even though this hasn't ever happend). I was under the impression, since when I was sentenced, last June, that I was on unsupervised probation. For the past few months I've been looking for my court papers and I finally found them. Its the paper that tells what crime you committed, the plea, and the verdict. It also tells the the different things that the court ordered, such as community service.... Upon reading it, I noticed it doesn't say unsupervised probation once, but instead "The defendant shall remain on good behavior for two (2) years." So my question is, is good behavior a more lenient version of unsupervised probation, or are they synonymous? I would think that since unsupervised probation is an official term, they would use it in the official document, and not have a synonym for it.
Also, the paper says absolutely nothing about drug testing. Does that mean that I will not be tested under any circumstances, besides maybe getting arrested.
well if its from last june, and you haven't been drug tested once yet in almost a year, why would they start testing you for the last year? just my take on it.
There's one key fact here: Do you have a probation officer assigned to your case? I was on "unsupervised" with a PO 9 months went by and nothing happened one day she called me and asked me to come in for testing while I was hitting my one hitter I got off lucky...long story But the moral of the story is...Be safe man I am off probation in 3 fridays...yippee
But do you remember what your papers said? Cus I'm wondering if having to be on "good behavior" is a more lenient form of unsupervised probation. Its been almost an entire year since I went to court and I haven't had to talk to anyone. I don't think I have a po. I haven't had to talk to anyone. I remember when I got busted as a juvenile, and got supervised probation, the court gave me my pos card and everything.
