No, I am really floggin my noggin for the answers but I am sure there are people who are still good.

Ah yes, Nick Cave has had a fairly consistent and long career, and his last album was respectable even if it wasn't my taste.

I don't think Pink Floyd went on to make bad music....

I know I stand alone on this one though. everyone hates them now.

Plus, I love new radiohead

Same with Jethro Tull, their stuff has been pretty consistently good over their 40+ year career.. of course there's highlights, but I've never heard a Tull album I didn't like.

The Beatles individual careers made some some shit, minus a couple great songs.

Nope, they're still around.. Ian Anderson does more solo stuff nowadays, but Tull still play concerts and that.

I think that Roger Water's ego ruined the wall and the final cut, but I also think he was an essential part of the group so I didn't think the next two albums without him were that great either.

In Rainbows disappointed me because it wasn't as challenging and different as their older stuff, it kind of just sounds like they made stuff they new people would like. Still, its a 'good' album. I still love them.

I get what you're saying. I didn't know if you meant 'new' Pink Floyd as anything after Syd.. and I gotta say, Animals is definitely one of the greatest albums of all time.

I know what you mean about radiohead though. their newest album isn't nearly as awesome as their previous ones; I still have a love for them though. Sometimes, even if a band doesn't put out stuff that is 'amazing' or cutting edge or whatever, you heard them at the right time in your life, and they just stick with you for whatever reason.

Ha ha, that is why I love you and does2. Animals is probably my favourite floyd album, or else up there with Piper at the Gates, The two movie soundtracks and Atom Heart Mother. Apparently Pink Floyd themselves hate the album and so do a lot of the hardcore fans - IDIOTS . Dogs is an awesome song.BTW I meant Pink Floyd after Roger decided that he was god.

In Rainbows is Radiohead's The Wall. :p

Dogggggggsssssss, probably one of my favorite songs of all time. I play it for friends sometimes, and even my mom, and they are like 'it's boring'

how the hell can someone think something as amazing as dogs is boring?

anyway, yeah.. if radiohead wants to save their career, their next album better be fucking awesome.

I love music. man, do you like animal collective? I love them... saw them twice last week. :p

Bob Dylan... everything before his soul died in '75 is pure, with the exception of Jacob Dylan, who was born in '69 and still kinda sucks.
Paul McCartney... his latest album is blah. the old man has exhausted his musicality.
Wilco... but were they ever that great?
Broken Social Scene... the BSS ideology: lets see how many band members it takes to grow progressively detached from the golden age of when it was only one man in charge of the music.
Mars Volta... RIP Jon Theodore, you we're the balls and the backbone and I miss you.
Squarepusher... Just Souvenir ain't right, but ill dance to it.
