Freaky dream- with me asking the future.

I had a strange dream last night.
The usual deranged nonsense.Russian Mafioski etc blah blah..
And I decided to stay over at my grandfather's house.
Even tho' he's been unfortunately dead for a while.

Anyway, my grandfather came in thro the door.
Immediately I said "Not being funny, but this freaks me out with you being dead and talking to me inside"
( strangely I feel ok(er) talking to him*outside*)

But this time I felt like a "paranormal warrior" and didn't freak out....as much
So I asked him "you know being dead and all that, you'll have sort of spiritual answers won't you".

So he took off his glasses, looked at me and pondered deeply.
I asked "Can you tell me.."
( I was gonna ask re sthg in the future)

Immediately everything went all freaky and I woke up, heart pounding.

Maybe my subconscious stopped it...maybe it was him...

Have u ever been tempted to know the future?Paranormally, in a dream or whatever?Hmm...

 

Isn't anyone inquisitive about the future?
Or tried it in dreams, Tarot cards or anything like that?

I dunno.Maybe its just me..LOL

sometimes ill lightly think of the future, like in my subconscious ill predict a rather unimportant happening....sometimes it happens. weird.

 

I quite often have a dream of some sort like it.
Sort of "do u wanna know the answer".

Usually I "bottle it"( decide against it) as we say in England.
This time,I asked and was prevented from knowing what was gonna be said...

Awareness of the future could be good.Or disorientating.
Maybe u only know, if u know what that answer is...LOL

My sub-con predicts things I don't nec wanna hear.But after time I'm more comfortable with them.

 

this could only be a bad thing. maybe you don't want to know. and if it does happen you'll know...hahaha. either way its coming.

Actually maybe its saying "wake up dickhead this is sthg U ALONE have control over".

I am on it too much.Hence my "soon to be leaving" comment ie intention.
But I don't think I'm on to a harmful level.Just that I AM neglecting certain things.

My energy feels sort of flat the past week or so.Reassessing, needing to get positive again.Maybe it was too much to "know" the answer in my dream right now.Arrrrrggggghhh LOL

Sometimes I note down my dreams and analyse em much later on- I sometimes feel "too close to them".
Anyway, what do U think it means...?

I don't think dreaming about death or people who have passed on is a bad thing, or even symbolizes death. I think it symbolizes change. Did you know your grandfather? Well? If you did you may know what needs changing. Since it was your grandfather, it could be something quite personal, something that's been going on for awhile, or something to do with your family.

Talking outside... That could mean talking to someone you don't know, or talking to someone you know really really well. Not someone in between. I think this thing must be pretty personal if you can't talk about it "inside". I take this to mean you don't want it hanging around once it's out in the open.

Did he usually wear glasses?
If he did, taking them off (as you seem to know) means connecting on a deeper, more personal and serious level.

A physical reaction (heart pounding) after a dream maybe means it is very important.

I dunno.

The one in the dream, I knew very well.But I felt he didn't know me in his older years.
He didn't understand my ambitions and I was sort of "offended" by that.
He wasn't career minded but strangely he got into politics and mixed with wealthy and famous.Very rooted,unpretentious and placid usually.Very "simple logic" u know?Yes he wore glasses.

My other grandfather was v much of a mystery to me.I don't know as much about him unfortunately.He was successful, Russian, driven and wild.( the earlier part of the dream was re Russian Mafia).
I'm wild and driven too.
Maybe the dream grandfather had a little of *him* in too?(face slightly different).


I prefer talking outside because I feel claustrohobic inside with the dead.My grandmother died when I was younger and it would freak me out tapping my shoulder when she was dead.( She'd give a spooky laugh-its her humour)

In a way, I'm wondering about the "bigger picture".Whats in my control and what is beyond it.Preparing for the future.Knowing what to do.

I was sort of lookingfor a "magic answer".How to handle risks.Where to base myself and live.But also the "X factor"- the permanent things that will make me happy and not constantly restless.

I sort of feel at a loss.Its holding me back, u know?

 

Last night I dreamt a weird dream about my uncle.

He was famous. I was at a road crossing and he was walking away from me, behind me, he was with a friend. There was a woman next to me. I was looking towards him, and waving. Then the woman shouted to him, and he turned to her and waved back to her. He didn't looked at where I was but didn't acknowledge me, I don't know if he saw me or not. I didn't stop waving.

Then the woman next to me shouted to him and pointed me out. Then he looked around, saw me and waved back.

I've no idea what your dream means.Other than sort of a frustration that you what people to see you as what you are more. perhaps etc.And listen to you as an "adult"Yeah?
Plus a need for personal attention etc.

i don`t think i want to know the future, it`s cooler to be a surprise...and hope it`s a pleasant one.

 

Last night I dreamt about a triangular shape with the word "stop" written inside it. I think this may be some kind of sign.

 

It all sounds so complicated!

In my honest opinion, dreams can help you out with the present or with the past, but I dunno bout the future. The only way dreams about the future make sense is in the future, with retrospect.

Maybe u've struck something.Infact very good observation.
Like I said sthg about we can shape the future, also we need to to focus on the present.
I always remember when Yoda in Star Wars talks about "the living moment.the living force of the present".

The taking the glasses off was maybe" Come on think about it, focus, you know whats needed".

Permanent things?Well my business is going good.Yeah there's some projects that I want to see at the next stage v soon.
Gf-well I'm seeing someone but I don't want time commitment.Nor can I commit time.She's cool,but she isn't "the one" anyway.
House-yeah I'm happy with it.But I wonder which region I want to be in say 1 or 2 yrs time - more my "true home".

But I dunno, I'm always chasing the "next thing" work wise.I'm always looking at the future.Sometimes I want more permanence in the here and now.More of a sense of belonging and chilling rather than looking forward?

But yeah, I should focus on the present.I'll have to think some more now...

I think our life is made up of little "right here right now"s. And everyone who's reading this post is in one right now. Why are you reading this!?!?! Go out and enjoy the sunshine!!!

Anyway, the fact is you could die tomorrow. I could die tomorrow. Anyone could die at any given moment. That's a cliche, so over used But it's true.

Would you be happy if you died tomorrow and had the opportunity to look back on your life? Would you be happy with what thoughts/feelings/emotions/motivations you had? [This isn't exactly to you, Resso Clearing my head a bit to continue]

I was thinkin' a couple of months back. And I was thinkin', If a rugby (I am NZ lol) player died, and everyone's like "Wow, he had such potential" is that right? Because he didn't. I mean he might've when he was alive, but he's not. He's not a great rugby player.

When I die, I don't want people to say, "That Laura May had so much potential in life, she could've done great things". What's the point in that? Potential isn't substantial. I'd much prefer them to be able to honestly say I lived a good life and did good things.

I'm sorry if people don't agree with what I'm saying or if I offend someone. It's just the frame of mind I'm happiest in, and it works for me.

I think "live in the present" but I don't always really act it.Otherwise my life would be GIGANTICALLY different.Some more fun in the past.But would it be more fun going forward?Nope.
Sort of like the difference between inner happiness( fulfillment) and outer happiness laughing and joking.( ok a gross oversimplification perhaps).

I once saw like a Grim Reaper character in the moment I woke up.It made me really sad, felt like I'd been robbed.I sort of plan out a 90 year life, then cryogenic freezing.Everything for me is dedication,achievement- which can be REALLY unhealthy.Sometimes I think I want things too much.There's no balance, so it makes things harder.And the living moment becomes just... well a minor detail.

Your comments remind me of my friend.He didn't drink one night of a 3 night trip away,because his waist had gone up 1 inch.Yet he was slim as fuck.
A month later he'd died in an accident.There's sthg kind of ironic about what he was worrying about- u know?: (
