i went to borders today and read the first chapter of my booky wook, ($25) i didn't have any money and it was hardcover so i didn't wanna take a chance on taking it but so far it seemed great
I just like paperbacks better because they're easier to hold. haha I'd much rather buy it for cheaper online.
Yeah, I concur.A friend of mine borrowed my Zombie Survival Guideand it got destroyed, basically. Paperbackbullshit.
I finished reading the book a few weeks back, really enjoyed it. I managed to obtain a signed copy after hearing he was at the local bookstore on my lunchbreak.
weird... the last two things I bought on amazon are The Zombie Survival Guide and My Booky Wook. lol Yeah, did you meet him? And better yet, was he glorious?
I did meet him briefly, yes. An admirable man who clothed me with compliments, to my surprise. I can see how his charm has you ladies in a flutter, a nice chap.
And I'm sure he was. I'd be like "Hello, Mr. Brand. I'm a fangirl. Would you please sign m...-faint-"
This thread has lasted longer than most I have ever made and its nothing but us fawning over Russell Brand
On a new note, I got My Booky Wook today! I'm like three chapters into it! Its hilarious and wonderfully written. The best part is, I can almost hear him saying the words. So, its written like he speaks, if that makes sense.
If I wasn't so broke, I'd buy this wonderful piece of literature.... Le sigh. And as for the fawning thing, I was watching television last night and a commercial for his special "Live in New York" came on and I kinda did the whole breathless stare then squeal thing. How sad. XD
yeah I know what you mean.. I downloaded his show Re: Brand a couple of nights ago and I've been watching it. There's only 6 episodes and there's one where he's taking a completely hetero/platonic bath with this other guy. And can I just say.. thank you birtish television because it completely shows Russell's winky.
