acid vs. shrooms

By the time you take enough shrooms to get visuals close to that of acid you are too grilled to enjoy them.

 

Acid kicks the shit out of shrooms.

 

yeah my vote has to go to acid, only because there is a greater chance of someone buggin on shrooms. thats what ive noticed anyway. acids cleaner, where shrooms kind of give me a foggy head after trippin

 

Acid you get more bang for yer buck, last longer and better visuals sometimes but then the come down can be very shitty. shrooms have easy comedown but dont last very long.

 

I say acid because its amazing.shrooms are well good but im less experienced with shrooms. Plus its easyer to take acid,shrooms taste raw.... Plus acid has the whole hippie movement history behind it.

Relative to the intensity of the trip or strength of the dose, (90ug LSD= 1g dried Cubensis), mushrooms seem more overwhelming. I like intense trips too. Personally, taking less than 300ug LSD or a full eighth of shrooms seems like a waste, annoying me by teasing me with subtle effects vs. dramatic ones.

The thing about mushrooms is that the psychedelic properties were likely developed as a defense through evolution. That thought caries with me through my trips and I always think, “What have I done?” There is just something generally troubling about being on an intense shroom trip. LSD was developed by accident in attempt to develop something to increase circulation, which may explain the speedy comedown. I learn and appreciate much about myself much more on shrooms though. I feel more like I took a drug on acid, sometimes in a fun way.

 

First off, cid is more fun than shrooms (in my opinion). Its more of a sit back and watch the show kinda drug. I also find its much easier to freak out on shrooms. You go from not tripping, to full effects very quickly, which can cause panic. While acid eases you in. I have friends who never take acid, just shrooms, because they think acid is toxic or something. Which is far from the truth, theres nothing wrong with psilocybin itself, but any mushroom can contain a multitude of toxins. Oh and I almost forgot, allot of the time you can fell sick, or have diarrhea from shrooms, and its not fun to start out a trip barfing your brains out. Although, fuck, I just realized this is an old ass thread, I was just starting smoking pot when this was posted.

 

LSD. all i can say. it speaks for itself in all situations.

 

acid seems to be an easier trip for me and therefore more fun therefore i enjoy it more, i wouldn't necicarily say i learn more from an acid trip over a shroom trip though.

 

who cares, theys different things, eat the one you like.

 

I like acid more, but it's all personal preference of mindset.

In my own opinion shrooms deconstruct the brain
Whereas acid can allow you to build on what you currently have

I would say respect and do both, but acid has given me soo much

Mushrooms are natural. They don't cause the bodily pains you get from taking acid. It feels clean and real.

 

acid is a lot more intense, but shrooms can get intense at higher doses. I'd have to say LSD for the length and continuing mind fuck for days. Shrooms let you slip right back into your life like it never happened, but acid makes you remember it!!!

 

Tough choice, but I chose LSD. I really can't pick between the two though, I only chose LSD because I haven't done shrooms in nearly 2 years now.

I tend to have more personal growth on mushrooms, but as a result they are more hard on me mentally. Almost always I have a moment on a mushroom trip where I feel impending doom and wonder why anyone would ever eat them. It too almost always turns out ok, but still. I would not change anything about mushrooms, I like the bad parts, gotta take the bad with the good, but it's hard to put myself through that.

LSD though is just a nice gentle ride. Not sure what people are talking about when they say discomforts, physical or otherwise. LSD has never been anything but kind to me.

over all acid just takes you places shrooms can't. plain and simple it's just better. love shrooms not dissin on them at all. also you can't really compare the two because they're two different drugs. you can't compare mdma and weed... they're in two different categories. either way you still trip =]

 

i think shrooms r a more natural high
