has anyone heard APC's creepy cover of John Lennon's Imagine?? I just heard it on the radio the other day.
yay! i didn't know other people on here were into apc as much as i am! I LOVE "The Outsider"..that song helped me get through some hard times. I haven't really ever been into Tool, but im gonna give them a try..so whats the best Tool album?
what could have been just a side project. is actually a really good band. i like how the style is it's own..it's a different band instead of being a second TOOL. even though a second tool..isn't possible. but yea apc is good stuff
listen to a perfect circle's '3 libras' acoustic version. i downloaded it and its a live recording, its the song that got me really into them. its an amazingly beautiful and dark song
in my opinion Aenima is the best tool CD. Lateralus is mind blowing if you REALLY listen to it. but they are both awesome. just awesome. i cant wait to see them live. but as far as APC goes, they have a new album coming out on election day, november 2. if you go to their website (aperfectcircle.com) you can listen to one of their new songs. i havent heard it yet cause my speakers arent working right now. somebody check it out for me and tell me if you like it. maynard is a fucking genius!!!
hey weird idiot, i went to the website heres what i got to see =D November 2nd, coinciding with the presidential election, APC will be releasing a collection of songs about WAR, PEACE, LOVE AND GREED, entitled "eMOTIVe." Featuring new material and songs like "imagine" by John Lennon, "What's goin on" by Marvin Gaye, "Let's have a war" by FEAR. This week we will release one of these new songs entitled, "Counting bodies like sheep to the rhythm of the war drums," with an animated video poking fun at our fearless leader. Hopefully, you'll find it as entertaining as we do. that song was fuckin COOL i am gonna LOVE this new album. the video was funny cover art anyone? im really liking this too
I saw A Perfect Circle on St patty's day a few years ago.. It was when that chick was in there, and it just started by her standing on this platform thing with shammrocks painted on her ta ta's with some black light paint playing the violin, and then maynard came out and it was just a really good...
I saw them in Hershey last May and they probably put on the best show I have ever seen. What an atmosphere.
i saw them on 4-20 this year. i loved that coincidence. got ripped and ate an 1/8 of shrooms and they blew my mind away. no naked chic tho. but still great. and thanks gloom for checkin that out for me. my comp sucks and has no sound. but i cant wait untill it comes out on the internet so i can burn it onto a cd. they are without a doubt, one of my favorite bands of all time, and they put on the best live show i have ever seen!
Yeah A Perfect Circle puts on an amazing show... I saw them in June when the came to AZ. They opened up with Vanishing.... it was absolutely mind blowing!!! If you ever get a chance to see them, I suggest you take it!! I cant wait for the new album to come out. StonedAngel, I'd have to say that the best Tool album is Lateralus. I find that I can rock out to it when I'm in the mood to rock, and I can chill and meditate to it when I'm in the mood to meditate! It can be listened to in any mood...just my opinion. Oh yeah...it's also absolutely amazing on shrooms...but then again...what isn't!!! Peace!
eMOTIV is grand - & a dvd is comin out soon 2 ^_^ The last time I saw em I ate flesh of the gods till I couldn't eat anymore and as we walked into the venue they were in the middle of the 1rst song - I had been sick and had an extremely rough liftoff, but the visions I had that night have never been topped. APC have expanded my mind so much... I <3 em
APC and TOOL are both incredibly good bands. I really liked "The Nurse who Loved Me" and "Pet" off of the 13th Step. The last song off of Emotiv (i forget the name....CD case is in the car) i think is very beautiful. Manyard has such a great voice. For whoever asked what a good TOOL cd is i would have to say that first of all there is no bad one....you could really pick any. Aenima would prob have to be my favorite though...."Eulogy" is without a doubt one of my favorite songs of all time. Has everybody seen the video for "Counting Bodies Like Sheep to the Rythm of the Wardrum"? If not then you should check it out
TooL will always be Number 1 on my list. Maynard in my opinion really let his talent and creativity flow much better through them. It seems he has his band more sync'ed up with what he's doing. Not to put APC down. I love them too, and I think Maynard is doing very good things with them. But I think it's time for him to go back to TooL. I've only heard a couple songs from the e-Motive cd, and while I love his voice, I want to hear original Maynard creations. My favorite song from APC would have to be Judith. Or maybe The Noose. Both are really great.
has anyone heard "The Package" by APC? man..that song is awsome. i probably would have never heard it unless i hadnt rolled that night. me and a few of my very close friends dropped mdma and eventually fell into his car when he played this song. he had a pretty nice stereo system in his car so the song felt like it was flowing through our bodies..it was great
"Sleeping Beauty" is my favorite APC song. They are by far one of my favorite bands (and Mer de Noms one of my favorite albums). I like Tool, too, I love his voice. I got 13th Step and I wasn't impressed... I dunno, maybe I need to keep trying it, but it just didn't have the same feeling...
Owww, its been a time since I last listened to those guys but reading those comments make wanna listen to all 3 albums.. Now, what one should I go through first?!
