New NHL Hockey Team

Okay all you hockey fans listen up.

My city has a chance at getting an NHL team. We were always teased about getting one before but we might actually get one now

That would make 7 Canadian hockey teams. So even if you don't like Hamilton just do it so Canada has more teams in our own fuckin' sport. Enough of these bullshit places that have teams like Nashville and Carolina, hell even Florida, Tampa Bay, Dallas, and Anaheim can all fuck off.

I'm prepared for this thread to go straight to page 2, but as a hockey fan and Canadian I have to at least try to get people to care.

 

BTW, we get to take over Phoenix.

I wish they would bring the Whalers back.

 

^^ Now there's an American team I wouldn't mind coming back. The North Stars would be great to have again too.

 

Cities like Detroit, Chicago, New York, Boston are great to have teams in the nhl. It's the southern teams and shit that don't really belong.

 

Its way the Sharks failed so hard in the playoffs.

Not sure, I don't think we'd keep the Coyote's name.

....Oh yeah Gretzky is the coach of them so I'd get to see him at a game.. I've already met his dad twice at hockey tournaments lol.

It would be interesting to see a new NHL team. But i think they would have to replace it with another existing team.

 

Yeah fuck the Dallas Stars, Minnesota North Stars were what's up, lol my dad still has a pair of North Star sweatpants and a hoodie. The Wild are tight though, not a bad replacement that is for sure. I hope you honestly do get a hockey team, the sport certainly needs expansion. You are fucking dead on about southern teams, what the fuck is up with hockey in places where it doesn't even snow?

Who is watching game three of wings vs blackhawks? Those first two blackhawk goals that were basically back to back were fucking sick, damn wings coming back though, they be deep.

I hope you get your professional hockey team man. I think I take it for granted that I have amazing teams to root for here in Boston. Does Hamilton have any other sports teams?

Going to puck games fucked up is great. Nothing like getting shitfaced on the train ride into the garden to go watch the big bad B's (who had their season ruined by one of those lame southern expansion teams).

 

They have the Hamilton Bulldog's, I believe.

hamilton tiger cats (CFL football) and I think they have an OHL team as well.
