See it all here, and tell us what you think!

I actually can't believe that anyone would actually propose something like this, much less a "world leader".

That's Obama bin Laden for you.

Meet the new Bush, same as the old Bush.

Whenever I hear him speak, all I can really do is shake me head and laugh because all that ever comes out of his mouth is bullshit (which he reads off a teleprompter).

None of this comes as a surprise to myself and a few others.

I said MONTHS before Obama was put into office that he would carry out the same agenda as Bush, but with even greater impetus, veiled with carefuly crafted rhetoric to make the koolaid drinkers believe he represents "change," even though he is exactly the same as the previous stooge, though even worse.

What do you mean he didn't say or mean that? Even those on the left, who would normally lick his boots, are admitting it's bad.

Maybe you oughta read some more.

Or maybe I am just misreading you.

The Obama quote is supposed to be: "Indefinite Preventive Detention"

This bit is right (almost - won't quibble over it): "Preventive Detention"
    This bit is wrong: "Indefinite"
    "Prolonged Detention" is right.
The ""Indefinite" part was the inference of the Ms Barrow and it seems many others...
Ms Barrow claimed liberty campaigners were up in arms about the "indefinite" part...they arn't. Well if they make the same inference they will be, I suppose.

I agree "The Left" (and "The Right" as it happens) have issues with "Preventive detention."
We had the same issues here...like it says in the clip.: http://www.noliberties.com/basics_detention.htm

You see this is what happens when you use source material rather than just going to youtube editorials. You get all mixed up by those 'fact' thingies.

Oh, so is The Washington Post a "YouTube editorial" now? It isn't "source material"?

    http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2009/05/21/AR2009052104045.html

Besides, the clip I posted comes from MSNBC and isn't a
    "YouTube editorial" (whatever that is).

Indefinite detention is what Obama is proposing. Whether that is what he called it is fucking irrelevant. It's no different than Bush and Cheney calling torture "enhanced interrogation techniques."

I swear some of you would argue that the Patriot Act is good because it has the word "patriot" in it.

Whether it's called "preventative detention" or "iindefinite detention," the latter is what it is. Quibbling over something as petty as the name is just fucking retarded.

    Learn what ORWELLIAN NEWSPEAK is.
