I just don't think you have the ability to see the bigger picture. How the hell do you know that what those people see/hear isn't real? They are simply seeing things that are always there and they don't know how to deal with it. The people who can deal with it find a useful place in our world and always have- since the beginning. They are called Shamans or Psychics or however you want to put it.

yup.. ive been diagnosed schizo describing some of the things i've experienced just because they are outside of what is validated 'real' by the would be perpetuators of a patriarchal christian society but have no trouble living my day to day life because i understand that these people or the people they work for are just trying to keep things going status quo because they fear any change, even though that change could be astronomically better than what is happening now, which everyone seems to have a problem with. Validate your own visions, you are likely in contact with spirits or your own guardians, just know in the highest reality all is one, and ultimately you have to decide for yourself what you believe and what you do not, but there is so much good that can come from actually listening to and learning from or trying to be constructive with strangeness that is considered schizophrenic, for guidance there are always past shamans and the indigenous peoples of the world, look to them, the 'crazy' things they did, their cultures, look at people who trip on acid (and come back with real knowledge), look at these guys writing the new age books haha... does what you're experiencing look like that? could it look like that, a lot of the time schizophrenia (the bad, making no sense what so ever, living in hell kind) can become shamanism, or a useful insight when you stop resisting and thinking yourself batty whenever something out of the ordinary happens, life is a huge mystery.. tell others your peice of the puzzle, but try and help them understand as well..

 

By defenition a hallucination is a perception without stimulus that can't be validated by a third-party or monitored scientifically, Mentioning Shamans and Psychics doesn't really further your case because it's all unproven nonsense anyway.

Science can't explain or even see everything, so Orange is right imo. You can't say something isn't real just because you're unable to prove it is.

Don't let psychiatrist convince you that you have issues. Keep in mind psychiatrists survive by convincing you that you have a problem only they can treat. There impulse to diagnose, there theories, these are things birthed from survival instinct, not from the heart.

Yes... that is exactly what I am saying. Science is not the answer to everything, it is a means of discovery and is far too young for it to go around labeling everything in the universe. Shamans have been taking psychedelic drugs since the beginning of time as means of being ENLIGHTENED. Do you consider tripping on psychedelics making yourself crazy? In essence a doctor would call this INDUCED PSYCHOSIS which I think we can all agree, it isnt.
For you to just say that Shamans and Psychics are just unproven nonsense is extremely ignorant. Hypnosis for example used to be a complete psychic abilitly until SCIENCE discovered it and stole it. This will happen more and more in the future, I guarentee you. Seeing visions is an ability that humans have had since the beginning, by whatever means those visions are achieved. Some people who experience visions have an enlightening and life changing moment for the better, yet if they were to go tell a doctor about what they saw they would be called schizophrenic. Now I am not saying it is all positive. Some people experience these things and don't know how to handle them- thus they are called schizos, or like they would be called in ancient times.... possessed.
You always have to look at the bigger picture with everything... everything has deeper roots and you can see them if you dig for them.
