today i am at work as usual. i need inspiration for some designs (clothing). send me some inspiration. i am open to anything right now.

Went to the park with Yale today... then on the way home watched him throw his hat into oncoming traffic....
The rest of the day I will be reorganizing my horrific kitchen because I just cannot stand how unorganized it is!

Today i was playing floorball, awesome.

 

today was going well except for the rain, then everything got fucked up. Rance got clamped and we had a fight about it because it costs €120 to get the man to come out and unclamp us. This is the 2nd time it happened so I am fucked off! We had a ticket, it just had slid off the dashboard. Then he went to work and he got into an argument with a customer, she seems like she was a little crazy but apparantly she's reporting him to the cops. He hasn't told me the full story yet but FUCK, I'm so pissed off! I hate when life just throws stuff at you that mess up your day/week that you totally weren't expecting. Now cuz we spent our weekly shopping budget on the de-clamping we'll be living off tinned crap for the week.

 

What does clamped mean? Does it mean you can't drive your car because they put something on the wheel?

Best falafel recipe I have ever tried:

Falafel

1 (15 ounce) can chickpeas (garbanzo beans), drained
1 onion, chopped
1/2 cup fresh parsley (or sub dried to your taste)
2 cloves garlic, chopped (I use 4, but I love garlic)
1 egg
2 teaspoons ground cumin
1 teaspoon ground coriander
1 teaspoon salt
1 dash pepper
1 pinch cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 cup dry bread crumbs
oil for frying


In a large bowl mash chickpeas until thick and pasty; don't use a blender, as the consistency will be too thin. In a blender, process onion, parsley and garlic until smooth. Stir into mashed chickpeas.
In a small bowl combine egg, cumin, coriander, salt, pepper, cayenne, lemon juice and baking powder. Stir into chickpea mixture along with olive oil. Slowly add bread crumbs until mixture is not sticky but will hold together; add more or less bread crumbs, as needed. Form 8 balls and then flatten into patties.
Fry patties in hot oil until brown on both sides.

I do the same; if something is on sale I stock up, if I need 1 I buy 2. I had a great pantry stocked up, then hubby and I lost our jobs....the pantry kept us going for about 3 months before it ran low. Its all good, cause I can afford to start stocking up again. My cupboards are full and I have 10lbs of flour, a pail of honey, a huge bag of oatmeal and lots of canned foods in the pantry for back up.
I grew up poor and I remember having to go to the food bank...in my mind food=security.

 

Today I barely made the half mile walk to uni. So exhausted, and my hayfever tablets aren't working... Mum is suggesting its something else... But what could it be? If I say asthma she won't believe me... I'm seeing the doctor next week about the peak flow diary I've been doing... But meh.

I'm also getting really shitty and depressed cus my bf isn't being a bf anymore. I'm his first (we are 19 ffs) and the last week he hasn't had any conversations with me. He is too busy with his other online friends talking about their online gaming shit. And apparently nothing is going on with him atm so its ok that he hasn't got anything to talk about. We used to talk for hours on end some nights. Now I only get the staple "hey how are you" "I'm good, you" "yea I'm fine"

...

Is so annoying and its really getting me down that he can't put a little more effort in. I want to say 'be a good bf and TALK TO ME' but I don't want him to run scared or something stupid.

Just so pissed off its making me ill and upset and just.. shit. I don't know how to sort it out :'(

 

same here, food=security. I hate coming home (like I did the other night) and there was barely anything for me to eat and I was drunk and hungry. All we had were popcorn kernels. I'm used to making good food out of nothing though, you learn to when your living on your own with not a lot of money!

 

hehe that's cool. I'm currently buying in bulk right now because I finished uni and who knows when I can get a job. I've currently got enough for three weeks food or so (I don't have a pantry. But I'm buying a shit ton of Bronners and cleaning stuff just incase. I've never been poor until I divorced my family so its been a learning curve. I'm amazed at how well I'm actually coming up with my own ideas just incase what little money we have disappears
