It is a good idea, but I don't think it would be possible... I mean, realistically. You can try and do the best you can in your own life, but it's not possible for the entire world in today's conditions.
Great in principle, but just not going to happen. There is conflict in every aspect of nature; humans, animals, even plants.

depends on if you believe in Malthus or not... right now i believe its impossible because there are too many people. When oil starts getting scarce, competition for food is gonna get a lot scarer and competition breeds conflict.

uhhh... i think if most countries weren't capitalist, or at least (fer the smaller countries) non-opressive, and... asshat-ish then nucleur (sp?!) weapons and such wouldn't need to be there, and so they wouldn't. but what is world peace? there's always some war or somesuch goin on somewheres...
