Oh, man--I love Ocean City! I went there 5 years ago, and I loved it--my parents and I drove there, and the trip itself was cool--we saw a lot of gorgeous countryside--plus, we had a beautiful view of the ocean from our hotel room, and one day while we were there, I heard dolphins--never got to see 'em, but I heard 'em--and I figured that was good enough for me! And yes, we did go to the Boardwalk--picked up a few things while we were there--among the things I bought was a cool tie-dye T-shirt that I still wear to this day! As far as the different seasons go, we went there in the Spring--so I don't know what it's like there the rest of the year--although I'm sure it's pretty nice! Peace!
I used to live in OC from when I was about 6 to about 18 on 26th street... I miss it so much... Kayaking out to the mudflats in the bay to go clamming and just run around, walking on the beach in the winter, biking everywhere, and just smoking quietly on the beach.
I live over in MoCo (Montgomery county) just a few miles north of DC so it's quite a drive to OC so I never bother going out of my way but I do love the town regardless.
Ok so, first off, i've been trolling the forums for awhile now, and jsut never got to registering, but i saw this thread and had too. So holy shit guys, I've been a message board guy for a lon glon gtime, and always a erowid bug, anything and everything to do with substances. In all my years doing it, this is the first time I've see people communicating about my area, and in a fourm about stuff i love, crazy. But to answer first off, i live about and hour away from OC, in the Kent/Queen Anne/Kent island area. If you've been to OC, you know the area, its that place on right as your cross the bay bridge. But ill have to agree, OC is awesome, I too love the vibe. Small beach town, people everywhere, and finally some other longboarders! And if you've been there you know this time; a nice time we call 'Senior week'. Its like the whole city is a in anarchy, we sat on the boucany of our room and just watch people jack 30 packs right out of the front of the store, and run down the side walk, all day. Whats funny is one of us has probably bumped into each other on the board walk, or atleast walked passed each other. sorry for the rant, just excited, lol. Me and the friends are all moving down there in a few months, hopefully ill catch you all there. Stay easy brotha's. -Peace.
