Hi! One week old dreads!

Sakori has got a really good point. Although I am not registered for long, I am already reading this Dreadlock section for quit some time. It simply lost its quality.

 

beautiful dreads,i personally love them.

I dont understand what everyones issues are here?? One comment in particular really pisses me off,there was no need for it.
It was not constructive critisism and came across very bitchy.

For what its worth, I like your hair sakori. Also I agree with chemigals though I don't know if we are referring to the same person.

And sakori, did you edit one of your posts? I'm looking for where you said you wanted people to look at you in admiration and not questionability in regards to your locks... am I missing it or is it gone?

I don't care how people get their dreads done and what they look like... if you like them, then fuck what other people say. But by the comment you left above... it just puts you in the same spot as people that are criticizing you. Because my locks are not crochet does not mean I am trying to get people to look at me in a questioning way. And I certainly did not get dreadlocks to be admired.

Anyway, just my two cents.

I hope you stick around, not everyone on here is an ass. We need diversity to keep encouraging others to stick around. If all the crochet dreads leave... then we'ze have none.

 

Can this forum go a day without negativity?? Sorry you feel that way Sakori. I thought they were gorgeous. I agree with Nonfactor there is no such thing as a too perfect dread.

 

What? I never said anything like that. I could give a flying f*** less if someone admired me or my hair. I have dreads for me. You have me confused with someone else's post in this thread.

I posted on this board since there are so few people here with crocheted dreads, because they are run off like they're mutants! I figured maybe if more people posted about them, the negativity would stop but that's not the case.

The ongoing negativity is really sad, and I'm obviously not the only one who thinks so. What's wrong with just being friendly with others who have the same interests? What's the problem - why such a rift?

I would never try and run anyone off for their choice of method for dreading. I thought for a second you had a stinky attitude slip for a minute... but that was totally my bad. Totally.

I think you should keep on posting lady! We need crocheters around.

 

you should definetly stick around, to many natural method lovers around, plus your thread realy shows how to get good looking dreads in a short timeframe, they are very professional looking, so you could theoretically turn up to work in the office monday morning with them and nobody give out about your apperance

yes ma'am they are gorgeous, i actually crocheted mine at first but then left them alone so kind of the best of both worlds i guess, but yours look great...better than mine did when i crocheted them.

 

I think you should stick around too, lots of people coming on wanting fast ways to get dreads,you have what some people want-so stick around and be an inspiration!x

 

I think they look great!!! but i do miss the days before the jerks arrived on these forums.... but such is life..

 

as far as your dreads go, whatever floats your boat, I just like more natural looking locks.
