I've heard that you can breast feed in you get a boob job so I'd say you could with piercings..? Though I don't know. After 8 months (and counting) of breast feeding I just see my boobz as foods for the babe. Talking about tittays though. I am dieting and working out hoping mine will shrink-I loveeee small boobies!

 

piercings done correctly will not stop you breastfeeding, and a certain type of boob job where the scar is left at the bottom or underam area of the breast will not stop it either, however if you get a boob job with the scar hidden at the nipple there is a big risk that you may lose the ability to do it, (i watch way to much late night tv)

 

Hmm it's quite interesting see all the different views on B/F. I was advised not to b/f with my pierced nipples by my doc. He said that it would be more hassle than its worth really. But I like that there are conflicting views on this.

Not quite, I miscarried 5 1/2 months in. It was a while ago so its not a painful subject. I just remember having concerns about my boobays

and i know that much thanks to insomnia its a great study tip. i spent about 4 maybe 5 years not able to sleep in 3-4 month intervals so i would stay up and watch all the discovery channels, and learning channels so i learned a lot, my favorite thing to watch at night is the infomercial where the guy is selling the V-food razor, he is hilarious

I don't think I'd like to get pregnant again, you never know though, it was 3 years ago nearly so if I did decide to try again, I think it'd be in my late 20's early 30's, give myself time to heal properly. I'd be too terrified of history repeating. I'm not sure, it certainly left me with a few issues that I don't think I could cope with.

 

I had my left nipple pierced but didn't leave it in long enough to fully heal, took it out about 5 months or so after getting it (this was about 5 years ago), I breastfeed and

the left boob does not squirt as much, far, or crazy as the right one. But that could just be how boobs normally are when breastfeeding? I'd say it effected(or is it affected) it but who knows.

 

I read somewhere there is an organisation about body modded people and doctors.. Like the weird excuses docs come up with for reasons why modded bodies can't do certain things. It might have been bizarre... *Goes to get magazine*

Then it says the org. recommeneds removing jewellery before feeding, but some mums find their holes close up quickly, and some practioners even say its find to let your baby suckle with the jewellery still in but make sure the balls are screwed on very tightly. And of course, if there is sign of a nipple piercing infection, check with a doc before feeding.

OH and the same article says a woman was declined an epidural because she had a tattoo on the base of her spine where the needle would have gone into the skin there. According to them, the ink could have seeped into the bloodstream and caused damage... Wtf!! Tattoo inks are engineered to be comepletely safe to the human body. She may have gotten a little scar in her tattoo that may have ruined it, but the shite doctors don't know about body mods is silly xD

Not for any of these reasons of course! they are Ridiculous! but still I would take my nipple bars out if I had a baby and was breast feeding just cause it would make me uncomfortable to have steel in my babies mouth while it ate- heavey metals are so hardcore and babies are so sensetive...but that's just me. and that being said I don't intend to have a child any time soon and LOVE my nipple piercings...

I cannot believe that article says to leave the piercings in. That is very weird.

I am interested in having anothe babe some day soon, but also would love to have my nips pierced... now I'm going to have to do some research to decide what happens first...

 

I don't want another babe for about 3 years but don't want nipple piercings. you would have to be insane to put your nipple piercing in your babes mouth!
