How long do you keep em if you dont talk to that specific person? Do you keep the non-emergency police number? Do you keep the numbers of people you dont wanna talk to? Do you answer when an unidentified number pops up? I was just going through my contacts to save the numbers I need into my SIM card. I have 48 contacts. 6 DNAs (do not answers) I have no clue who these numbers belong to, but I know I dont wanna talk to them. I deleted some people I havent talked to in months, if they need me, they know to text me. I dont keep my mom's number in my contacts or SIM card. I dont answer calls from people I dont know. My sister said I should because it could be someone whose phone broke or the number changed, but I dont care. I dont like to talk on the phone anyway. I need a new phone. Two more weeks. i wish I didnt have a cell phone, but I need it.
I change my number so often, I have found it pointless to keep contacts in my phone. I do have a list on my computer, so I can find a number. One cell phone I answer all the time. The other phone I do not answer at all. It is just for calling out. Lately I have been using Skype. It is a good way to keep in touch with people. I do not answer unknown numbers.
I don't do anything to my contact list until I have to pay attention to it for example for another sim card (which I only had to change once by the way). I got my first and only mobile phone about 3 years ago. I use it as an alarm clock, to take a pic every once in a while and yeah, I generally answer all calls, even if they're unknown. I always keep it as short as possible, never got the fun of hour-long conversations via the phone. I thought my brother thought the same but it seems he changed his mind now he's got a girlfriend
i dont own a cell phone. well i do but its not activated and i havent used it since september. even then it was just for work and i only had my home phone, work office and bosses cell stored on it.. personally i hate the things..
i have 32 contacts. all of which are people i actually associate with, or useful numbers, such as work etc. i don't have the police in there, but i possibly should do. i have it at home though pinned on the cork board. i can't stand talking on the phone and i rarely text. if someones number isn't in my phone, i just don't like/associate with them enough. and i never answer unknown numbers or withheld numbers. never. because noone in my phone book does with hold and they are the only people i have an interest in talkin to. if like you say they changed numbers, and couldn't get a response, they could email me.
every few months i go through my phone and go through the letters and delete the people i don't talk to... it seems like then they start to talk to me again when i don't have their number! hahanehw
Hmm, I use the multicategories. But I change phones very regularly. Some ( business)categories it could be 100 or more people. But my "hardcore" is much less people.
I want a Phone that shoots a Laser .. I have 4 phone and dont use any of them.. & Clear all contacts after placing calls..
I have a lot of contacts and I rarely delete them because sometimes I get nostalgic and want to meet up with old friends.
I get rid of numbers as I get rid of people. Just seems natural. If we don't talk but we didn't fall out, I'll keep the number until I find out it's non working. Edit: I've got 28 contacts, but there are more that should be in there and aren't, like my moms etc.
I only kept the numbers of my close friends, family, the vet, hospital and the salon I used to visit stored in my phone. I didn't renew my contract so I need to get a new phone and I'm thinking about going back to prepaid. I rarely talk to anyone on the phone.
I will scan through my contacts every so often, and if it's been about a month or so without speaking (I'm talking about people who I've met recently, not old friends or family) I delete. Gotta do it regularly, otherwise I have a buildup of numbers from random bar people who I don't even remember, or even classmates who I know I'll never see again after the class, just takin up space, making it harder to find the numbers I'm really looking for.
