I have a few questions if someone could pm me I dont feel like having my personal details out in public. I have been looking for work sor awhile now. I'm getting tired of disappointment after diappointment. It would be nice to know where to look or if i'm going to get one of the jobs I have applied for. I have been planning to take my mother on a surprise vacation this summer... she'll be 40. I would like some cash to finance this vacation and to purchase a truck i have been eyeing up lately. I'm a little skeptical on psychics so if you could tell me something that there is no way possible of you knowing that would convince me. Another thing i would like to know is if there is any truth to this 'law of attraction' I've been trying to use that. I havent seen too many results yet. Thank you for your time. In these days of recession and job losses it is easy to get into a negative mindset, and, sadly, some people are that way all the time anyway. Many people say they are following the Law of Attraction but the fact is they don't have any idea about how to use it. They think if they keep wishing for something good to happen to them then the LOA will give it to them. Actually, in most cases, that increases their chances of getting what they don't want. The Law of Attraction has to do with ones mindset. Ones thoughts go out into the universe and attracts what ever it is that they think, or worry, the most about. So if you are a grumpy, unhappy person then guess what you will get back. Yes, more of the same. The universe looks at what you are sending out and matches it. Judging from your letter the LOA is working perfectly for you. You are getting exactly what you are emanating to the universe. I haven't seen too many results yet.” Mostly, the whole of your post is negative which brings me to believe you are of a mindset to be mostly negative. So what you emanate to the universe is what you are getting back. If I were to do a reading for you at this moment, I doubt the results would be what you are wanting and you would just have more ammunition for more negative thoughts. Besides, I do readings for the sole purpose of helping people, and I do it for free. But I won't jump through hoops to prove myself like you are asking. So I will do the next best thing for you and try to tell you how to get into a positive mindset and begin attracting positive experiences. Then you won't even need a reading! It is way too easy to get into a negative mindset these days which invariably leads to unhappiness and depression. To avoid being overwhelmed by negativity you need to make a conscious effort to avoid the experience. When life seems like a perpetual dark tunnel these are some suggestions to change your outlook on life. A negative mindset usually occurs because you won’t let go of the negative thoughts and ideas. You cling to them with feelings of self pity or injured pride. No offense meant, that is what our egos are good at doing. The negative thoughts seem to go round and round in your head and get more powerful each time you think about them. You must make a conscious decision to leave the negative flow of thoughts behind and be persistent in your attempts. (Not easy but doable) The flow of thoughts you have is your choice. If you feel a victim to our own emotions and thoughts, nobody else will be able to help you but yourself. You should feel that by holding on to a negative frame of mind, you are inevitably choosing to be unhappy; each negative thought is a conscious decision to be miserable. If you really value the importance of our own inner peace and happiness, you will aspire to cultivate this through good, uplifting thoughts. Next time you feel the onset of a depressed state of mind, just ask yourself this question: Do you want to be happy or Miserable? The best antidote to negativity is simply to spend time doing positive, uplifting activities while surrounded by likewise people. By engaging in useful fun activities, you can forget about the reasons for your negativity; this is often the most powerful way to overcome a depressed state of mind. At this particular time there are endless stories in the news about the horrible conditions we are going through. You must realize that the news media no longer produces news unless it shows graphic violence or depressing conditions. They are only interested in ratings. Even the weather centers dwell on bad weather. So if you are fighting a negative mindset and then watch these programs every day, guess what. It only gets worse. I will let you decide to leave them out of your scope of mind or not but you will do yourself a favor by turning them off when they come on. We live in a world where there are no shortage of pessimists, critics and doom sayers. There will always be people who can find the negative in life; but, there is no reason why you can't leave them behind. Make up your mind to ignore those kind of people and leave their miserable lives to them. Meditation is a fool proof way to get rid of negative emotions and bringing on relaxation. If you can learn to control your thoughts, you can control the experience and emotions of life. Meditation is more than just relaxation; it is a change in consciousness. We move from the limited perspective of our mind and discover an inner source of happiness. Our egos are forever suspicious and critical of others. You are proof of that but it is not your fault. We are taught that as young children. For instance, if someone is good 99% of the time but does one bad thing, guess what your ego will latch onto? Yeah, that one bad thing will be remembered far longer. Even worse, if you are amongst friends you will all talk about that person using that one bad thing as a center point and enforce negative mindsets for each one of you. We are terrible about doing that. So, your new job is to live in your heart and don't dwell on the negative of others. Love thy neighbor! Now for some real magic. It is one of the most important and fundamental of the laws for LOA. It is called GRATITUDE. It goes like this. Suppose one day you go to your mail box and find a letter addressed from a lawyer concerning an old friend. That old friend is now deceased and wanted to leave you some money. Suddenly you have a tidy little nest egg. Not a lot but it has come at an important time. You are elated and you show this by displaying gratitude. The universe looks down on you and says, hmmmm... he has received some money and he is happy. I will have to put more money in his path then. Okay, that is the way it would work if you showed gratitude and continued to have a positive mindset. I know, I see it myself every day! But if the gratitude fades back into doom and gloom then it will mean nothing. Remember, the universe looks at what you have on your mind most of the time not just once. If the gratitude is only momentary then it will do nothing. A long, long time ago I used to be a TV tech and I fixed TV's in peoples houses in San Diego Cal. I had lots of rich customers but one in particular taught me a lesson I have not forgotten. I was working on his TV one day and his family was gathered around the kitchen table talking about their day. Each of them had stories about good things that had happened that day and they all showed positive feelings about each story. Not one bad thing was mentioned. It was many years later after I studied LOA that I remembered that story and I suddenly realized why they lived in a mansion and were so happy! They practiced gratitude and the LOA. So here is my assignment for you. Find yourself a small notebook and each day list in that notebook five things that happened to you that were positive. Do that every day and make sure you show gratitude for having had it happen to you. Keep doing this until you know you no longer need to do it. The other assignment is easier. Purchase a book called “The Law of Attraction” by Michael J Losier. Make sure it is that one. It is a particularly easy book to follow. It has no fluff to fill pages, just good sound advice. Get it and follow it as if your life depends on it. He will show you how to live in a mansion. I do hope you have taken this post in the spirit it was meant.
