im asking for my self and my gf. whats the best way to avoid cuts and razer burn and to keep the itch away. are those electric one the really tiny ones any good. thank you all -new-guy
If it's for the first time then trim down as short as possible (ideally a Grade #0 with a set of personal grooming shears). Soak in a hot bath for a while. Lather up the area (by rights you should really use proper shaving soap, but I find that normal bath soap works just as well). Using a typical disposable razor (I find a single bladed type better, otherwise the gap between the blades of the multi-bladed types gets gunked up) make fairly long, smooth strokes, without applying too much pressure - just let the blade find its own route. The obvious difference in anotomy makes it easier to shave around the vagina than it does around the penis, so I suggest grasping the penis firmly & pulling it downward & away from the body, then shave down the length of the shaft, across the pubis. For shaving the underside the method is much the same, only drawing the penis upward. When it comes to shaving the scrotum, sometimes it's easier to simply pull the skin tight, other times it's easier to stretch it across the testicles. Either way, just let the blade find its own way - its much easier than you might think. After shaving for the first time the chances are that you will find it itchy & quite possibly sore after a few days, but after you have shaved a few times the skin soon becomes accustomed to it & you even start to get to the point when you feel uncomfortable if you DON'T keep it shaved regularly.
bent over with a razor, shave with the grain then against the grain and never force it or shave too close to something you'd cry if you cut it
Well I heard this I dont know if its true or not.. but over in china or japan they put on this special cream and you go into this pool with these tiny little fish.. The cream adheres to the hair and the little fish eat all the hairs off your body.. suppose to tickle.. But the litttle fish take pull the hair out one by one.. om nom nom nom..
It depends, most men who shave their pelvic hair will also shave everything...I personally won't shave there because it looks and feels weird. I trim my pelvic hair with a razor because I don't mind having pubic here there, I just don't like it really bushy. I do shave my balls, taint, arsehole and penis because its less of an area and offers less irritation. Since I have sensitive skin, I use a single blade razor instead of a multi-blade razor I would use on my face. But every guy is different...
i use a multi blade razor but i supose thats just personal choice. ALWAYS use a new sharp blade, dont ever use one thats been used even once its just to blunt. i always start at the top & work my way down wards pulling all skin tight. i use shave oil as i find that its easier to see what your doing, its a silkyer substance making the shave easier & closer & you use less than you would shave gell or foam. i personally dont like my man to shave down there. i did once want him to & he did. a day later i regretted that decision because it felt like i was making love to a porkypine, it was awful. now i just ask that he trims the area & that suits me just fine. be prepaird for the area it itch after a few days, thats the worst bit about shaving. my man likes me to shave down there, sometimes i do & sometimes i just let it get real long. i really would liek to go get it waxed but people keep putting me off saying it hurts. but apparently it dosent itch when it grows back after waxing.
lmao i love the continuous fish references. i wonder if that's true.....i'd be terrified one would get a little crazy and go after my balls lol
Urrrgh the thought of a razor on my balls makes me shudder! I use hair removal cream, it says on the pack you shouldnt put i do and know plenty of others that do aswell. Never had any problems at all.
I tried Veet once - and only once! The burning was unbearable. Despite thorough rinsing under a cold shower the pain just wouldn't stop, and even after it eventually abated, it remained extremely sore for the next couple of weeks. After that I returned to the reliable old razor which, contrary to how you may imagine, is not a problem. If you just let the blade follow its own path around the scrotum, without any additional pressure, a prefect smooth finish will result, especially if you can either pull the skin tight or stretch it around your testicles. I once saw a TV programme about tattooing, and there was one particular bloke who had his entire penis & scrotum tattooed, and in order to provide a firm work surface for the tattooist apparently used a wooden spoon to stretch the scrotal skin over. As soon as I saw this method I couldn't help but think of the same system being used for pubic shaving.
It's easy for girls - use warm/hot (not too hot!) water or soak in the bath/shower then use some unperfumed shave gel or shaving oil. Gentle strokes - slowly work around the whole area and keep soaking in hot water if needed. Rinse clean and then test (gf and I did it to each other earlier this evening - and enjoyed the testing phase)
I always shave with a new blade. I find that (for me) not using shaving cream or water works best. I often lay down on the floor n use a mirror to make sure I get everything. Idk why I even do it... no ones gonna see it... idk even why I got my labia pierced either...
What about waxing? Sure, it's painful and messy but it lasts longer and you don't have to worry about cuts
