no,they don't suck, the dreads on u with the red hoodie is really bad-ass,i've had people tell me mine aren't working but i've had mine for about 2 years and i proofed everybody wrong,if u wanna see them they are in my gallery.
o and to answer your original question you dont have dreads you have backcombed hair so yea they suck. give em a few years tho. maybe they wont suck
It looks like they're mostly just hair, and that's probably just because of the length. You could try to twist n rip them * if done properly* they'll be held together a little better then they are now.
yeah, those aren't natty dreads - sorry. People are always calling my dreads natural, so I usually explain that natural means you actually do nothing to them whatsoever, and waxing is faggotry. Personally, I think you should rip a few of them apart and make them a bit smaller, or you're going to end up with like 9 humongous dreads. but it's all up to you, just my $.02
Your dreads don't suck because they don't yet exist. You've done everything 'right', except have patience. Dreads form themselves, you can't rush it. I'd break them into smaller sections unless you want four humongous dreads...
oh bother....topher your dreads dont suck....theyre young and immature. Dreads will look like shit and then bigger shit before they start to look good. Its all part of the process. they're gonna grow to be just fine....just takes a whole lotta time!!!!!
when i first had my dreads backcombed, they were a knotty knatty right mess! They will naturaly seperate and knot as thye go on Give em time and patience like i did, i know it can br frikin frustrating
I disagree, and i know plenty of people who do as well. The term "Natural" ( in regards to dreads ) is still "un-defined" within the dread community simply because, not every one agrees with one definition. "Neglect" on the other hand...even tho its misleading since you usually don't actually neglect your dreads is widely accepted as the term used to describe the method that you are referring to; in order to obtain dreads. We can at least agree that dreads, while not created by "neglect", can in fact be maintained "naturally". Hence, "Natural Dreads." Your argument seems to stem from; your interpretation of Topher D's some what vague statement. These differing interpretations of the term are why you shouldn't take it for granted. Agree to disagree. Peace.
