Alright, I'm pretty sure I have OCD. I'm not going to explain the examples of why I think so, but basically, it's controlling my life, and has been for about 2 years now. My mother is a phsychiatrist and I don't want to tell her or anybody else. I'm underage so i can't get medicine without them finding out. I dont suppose there are any natural cures, eh? Can you guys give me some advice as on what to do?

What's your diet like, give me a days typical diet. You get enough omega-3's? Any problems with digestion, assimilation?

I only ask because I know a ton of mental problems can be caused by diet (I used to have mild OCD when I was young). And I just dealt with extreme anxiety for the last 9 months, and cured it myself. Now I'm happier and as outgoing as ever.

The biggest part of treating OCD is working on changing your mentality. Whenever u find yourself doin OCD stuff just STOP, and focus yourself on somethin more constructive (talkin to a friend perhaps).

Well, i eat a combination of healthy foods and junk foods. I eat patatoe chips everyday, and a salad almost everyday. No disgestion problems. I'm thinking mine is nothing more than mild, I don't wash my hands a lot, if ever lol. But like, I play soccer, and if i don't tie my cleats perfect, to look the same, I'm constantly bugging with them trying to make them look the same.

And after I have an OCD "thing", if I don't do what my OCD tells me to do, then it's like constantly on my mind until I do it.

What they said. But also try meditating. Empty your mind of everything and breath slowly. Concentrate on your breathing and only your breathing. If you can do that, you can see how much that will help with overcoming your OCD.

Are you still around? You definitely need to speak to someone... Can you not get a school councellor to get you in touch with someone that who can at least provide a bit of talk therapy? You DO NOT have to suffer alone and I feel sad that you feel you have to. :(

My chiropractor has helped our family with a variety of things include emotional disorders. Not all chiros are equal. I can help find one in your area that would be able to help you if you like. pm me if you like.

    HUGS!
