Jet engine sucks up a cargo container

    A Japan Airlines flight preparing to depart Los Angeles was held up when one of the plane's engines sucked up a cargo container.
    OM NOM NOM ... It was just hungry.. :p

    3AW listeners who were on board the flight provided images of the bizarre incident - see above.

    No-one was injured as a result of the oddity, with all 245 passengers transported safely back to the terminal.

    I'm rather suprised it doesnt happen more often. Maybe it does over in the freight terminal.

    freight : yet another example of I before E excpet after C being a myth.
