I love that you labelled the photographs. Very sweet. And wow, that is fascinating. Did you see the tornado with your own eyes?
Aw, those pictures really made me want to cry. I remember when our town got leveled 17 years ago. Still gives me chills.
Wow, we had one hell of a storm during the night. Not too windy, so I eventually fell back asleep, but the thunder was SO loud. I had to turn on the TV to make sure we weren't about to go the way of Dorothy.
We got hit with 80+MPH winds at my house, the Tornado's were within 1 mile of my house. Of all that only 1 injury the guy was on a 4 wheeler when it hit. Yes I hear so many things on TV and such but until you see it 1st hand it never really meant as much. Really sad to see these ppl trying to pick thru the rubble of what was left of thier home. Yeah I can imagine what KR has seen in her neck of the world.
Every year in the summer when I was a kid, we'd go to Oklahoma right after the tornado season and everyone knows OKC is a war path for tornadoes, so we'd always get to see some crazy damage. It's so eery to stand somewhere and look at all the destruction and know mother nature did that and a tornado was right where you are just days before.
