If I lay down while I'm peaking and close my eyes or attempt to sleep, I get extremely vivid hynpagogic imagery. It is often so intense that I will be momentarily confused upon opening my eyes, wondering why my surroundings changed so rapidly. It can get annoying, but it's also really cool. It doesn't happen often, because I usually don't lay down / sleep until the high has gone away. Anyone else get this?
lol this happened to me the other night after some H and a massive gram joint that i champed on by myself i came back inside and i was like "transporting" to all these different places and all these different situations and then suddenly it dawned on me that it'd be so WEIRD to date a guy around here and i started freaking myself out (while still in these little alternate places in my mind). it was pretty cool, i tried to achieve such things last night but it didn't work as well
Something like that happens to me.. but I don't know if its completely from weed for me. I take medication for anxiety too and it makes me have weeeeird fucked up dreams. And sometimes when I lay in bed and close my eyes to sleep or just lay there (wether i'm high or not) i get weird fuckin images like i'm dreaming, but i'm actually awake. I don't really know how to explain it.
kinda weird but if i dont smoke for a few days and i doze off in class i get real weird dreams...the dream will be me in class just like i am but their will be slight things off that dont make sense like their will be more desks or their we'll be watching a movie that i can hear but theirs nothing on the screen. the one time i remember getting up and picking up my pencil like 100 times then i asked someone and they said i was sleeping the whole time. usually before i go to bed i make up fun little stories in my head to give me something to do while im laying there and if ive smoked enough then i can really start to picture what im thinking of but never really thought anything about it just my imagination(pretent i made a rainbow with my hands like spongebob)
ive also read that if you have some static plain image in front of your eyes(their example was a ping pong ball cut in half and each half taped over your eyes so all you see is white) and then have headphones on listening to static that after a few minutes of it you will start to see things...ive never tried it though but it sounds cool
Tried it, and nothing happened. This is off topic, but has it ever happened to any of you that you start trying to fall asleep, and then imagine something happening, and it seems real, so you kick, or act, and then you wake up? For example, last night, after lying down with my eyes closed, trying to fall asleep for like 5 minutes, I though I was biking or something, and I kicked my leg like I was pedaling a bike. I woke up and thought wtf. This happens to me a couple of times a month, and it's kinda weird.
Yea, that happens to me especially if I try to nap during the day but I know I only have but a few hours before I have to be somewhere.
Me too! Especially if I'm sleeping next to somebody, or sleeping in the same room with people that are awake, cause I get sooo embarrassed haha
Omg my old best friend used to talk in her sleep every time she stayed at my house. We used to talk to her to try to make her say funny shit when she was sleeping. My one friend sleep walks. Last year she stayed the night at my house over the summer and slept walk up the stairs and tried pissing on the floor in the hallway hahah while she was sleeping!
I apparently talk a lot in my sleep. Once at a some camp, someone heard me telling someone to stfu in my sleep. I don't remember it at all, haha I feel bad for anyone who's going to have to sleep in my room
i used to talk in my sleep...i apparently used to accuse my sister of stealing my bike lol. i also used to sleep walk a lot lol...i would wake up on my stairs and have no idea what happened
haha yeah, feels like your falling and makes you sort of jolt suddenly...happened last weekend at a friends place at about 7am dozing off with him sitting next to me on the couch and then all of a sudden I jerked my hand and smacked him in the shoulder, haha I couldnt explain why I did it either so I just said I was dreaming and thought we were somewhere else
Iv only ever sleep walked once, when I was 4 and it was just because I needed to piss...I walked from my room to my parents saying "water" the whole way and then when they woke up my dad got me a glass of water but I started crying and threw the glass at the wall then ran to the toilet and pissed I didnt know what was going on
I love the free fall sensation, and it is so much easier to get into when you are high. I honestly just sit here often for long periods of time with my eyes closed riding the roller coaster. On the vivid images side, it has happened a few times but it doesn't happen when I smoke on a regular basis. I didn't smoke weed for a week and a half back in October and then I bought a "dub" of mid lol and I can honestly say that I was the highest off of weed that I have ever been. It felt like my heart was pumping out of my chest, I had always thought people were silly when they are scared about their heart pumping but I suddenly knew what it was like, and it was terrible haha. That high was just crazy and intense, and led to some intensely crazy dream sequences while I was still awake.
I used to get this thing where I would see like the snow on a TV, fall toward it, hit it, and then start flying through a curving, twisting tunnel, but it would just dissapear before I got to the end. It reminds me of what I've heard of the visuals you get after smoking DMT.
I was in bed with my girl when she jerked half awake (I hadent fallen asleep yet) I kissed her and she muttered "Its just a turtle" It was very cute She talks regularly in her sleep. I'm used to hearing strange things.
I remember I was laying beside one of my ex-bf's and he was sleeping and I was watching tv and he goes "those potato sack eating irish" and he mumbled something else, i forget what it was though but it was sooo funny. I couldn't quit laughing.
