In about 10 minutes, I'm going to my first Muay Thai training session.

    I need to get fit.

I just hope I don't get the crap beaten out of me by a 100lb kid.

The child's grandmother could beat you up if she has had training. That's the point of fight/defence arts.

Have fun, Muay Thai is a good workout.

Don't put much weight on your lead leg, they're going to kick the crap out it.

Show no mercy. The first 6 months of training were nothing but beaten up.

Well, nobogy got to kick me. We were just taught the technique, the simple kick, the walk, the stance. Most importantly we were taught how to pay respect to our trainer. Then we got to kick him a bit.

To be honest, it was great fun, but hard work. I feel stiff as a board already. I'm sure I'll be fucked tomorrow morning.

Not yet, but I've seen the kids using giant bamboo trees here.

    Madness.

There was a recent (within the past few years) martial arts movie in Thailand starring a sick actor who did his own stunt, who was it?

hint: He had to find a sacred statue back.

    Mad for under 16s etc.

But works really well for adults.
I used to remember feeling pins and needles shooting up my forearms when I was blocking and stuff..

Gotta get your nutrition right tho too- if u don't wanna become an athritic cabbage...
